Best Business Mass Imaging Software?

So, I am not sure that Ghost is the best product to use. I have been using Unicast with Ghostcast Server, and changing things such as hostname, printers, etc... myself. What I'd like to eventually be able to do is run something like sysprep, and not have to deal with machines on a one to one...

There has to be a way to automate through a batch script. I just haven't found anything yet....

Display hostname on desktop wallpaper with HTML?

Any chance to imbed this in a html page instead of running an .exe on startup? My company just wants to keep .exe's to a minimum. Is a great app though.

Display hostname on desktop wallpaper with HTML?

I have to do this to 4000 PCs, so I'd like some sort of script to capture the hostname and display it in the upper corner with the wallpaper. I'm trying to get rid of the manual labels we do with a labelmaker.

I'd like to display a PC's hostname on the desktop wallpaper. With WinXP, you can display a webpage as your wallpaper. Is it possible to write some sort of script / webpage to display this? Thx.

Wanted: Registry batch file deletion

Thanks for the advice. I am trying to find a particular key/string/binary/dword in the registry, not a file, my fault in the wording. So if I would like to find instances of the word "documentum" in the registry (only in the SOFTWARE part of the reg) and then have all of those instances...

USB woes: IBM ThinkCentre, Windows 2000

SP4 is already part of the image build, but I never thought about re-installing SP4. I will give it a shot. In the meanwhile, I was also able to track down USB 2.0 drivers. They were hard to find, since MS no longer has them as part of Windows update.

Can only the message body be stripped from a .eml file?

I have quite a few emails I'd like to strip down to only the message body, no need for the header, sender/reciever or anything like that. Anyone know if this is possible and what if any program I can use?

Problems with ntvdm.exe and winword.exe crashing

There are 2 HP printers. I never thought of that .dll being the issue. I will have to uninstall them and see if that solves the problem. Thx.
