Thank you for replying. I don't think that its a driver problem because the drivers that previously worked flawlessly with my card don't do so anymore. also, fact that it is affecting a new installation also rules out any possibility that the OS may be responsible for the restarts.

i tried chkdsk but nothing. @VirtualLarry Ya but thats what. I mean, if a card went bust, then shouldn't the VGA thing should also go down(the whole card)? Does any one have any idea about the warranty that Palit offers.

WD external drive slower after firmware update.

Thanks for your reply but the checkdisk just completed and it reported everything as normal and unfortunately, there has been no improvement in transfer speeds whatsoever.
