I gave blood on a whim for the first time a few weeks ago, the red cross sent me a little note saying thanks and that since i'm O- (news to me) there is an 'urgent' need for donations due to compatibility, so I guess I'll be there more often than I had thought. All in all a pleasant experience...

A friend of mine was diagnosed a year ago and is doing quite well. She is on Rebif I believe.
As with any neurological disease, some have it worse than others. You're better to have been diagnosed today than 30 years ago, that much is for sure.
