Wireless Networking in Dense Apartment Building

HP Laserjet 1000 series printer and Windows 7

A little warning: The HP LaserJet 1020 does NOT have win 7 drivers. The vista drivers work, but it will print VERY slowly because they're host-based. The way to get fast printing in windows 7 is to go into the drivers and manually install the LaserJet 3055 PCL driver which comes with windows 7.

i might suggest getting the samsung intercept from virgin mobile. it won't add a big monthly bill ($25/month for a handful of minutes, unlimited data + messaging). You'll have wifi browsing and android apps. It's small and easy to carry. Cons: poor battery life, small screen. Not going to be as...

mx1100 so i bought one off a guy with no reciever.. how does itwork!?

My mx1100 came with a receiver that is specifically for it. I'm not sure if logitech sells replacements, but I doubt you can mix and match with any other logitech receiver.

2.1 PC speakers that support audio output of 2 inputs simultaneously

i can imagine usage patterns in which both PCs have alert sounds, perhaps. Say, one PC might be running work related stuff and the other running non-work stuff and perhaps one needs sound to alert you of new emails while the other needs sound for music or videos or what have you

Cheap Plug and Play A2DP blutooth adapter for Win7

I'm looking for the cheapest plug and play blutooth adapter that will work with Win7. Does such a thing exist? If not, what is the cheapest (non plug and play) blutooth adapter that supports A2DP through its own software?

With that kind of budget, I'd go with a pair of nicer headphones or 2.1 speakers (in that order of preference). If you really want to punish yourself, you might try to find some used logitech x540s within your budget and see how that sounds.

the obvious other one to consider would be klipsch promedia 2.1s also, consider some swan D1080s if you dont need a sub
