Maxtor 60GB 7200RPM Hard Drive for $59.99 + Free Shipping (AC/AR)

I'd stay away from Maxtor as of October 1, 2002, they are lowering their warranty on some drives to 1 year. Also, I recently returned a defective drive and it took 3 weeks, 2 emails, and 2 phone calls before they turned it around. That, my friends, sux.

Free shiiping at tires.com!

One thing to avoid is the $30 per tire charge (4-5 months ago) for road hazard certificates at Tires.com. It is *now* changed to roughly $10 a tire, so a lot of people must have bitched about the $30 per tire charge. I think it crazy to have to pay to ship a defective tire back to them...

Sweet...I got mine today. It comes in a package that looks like there's only one inside, but it's a sticker put there with your name and address. Nice packaging. Only took 2 days via FedEx.

How do you process three rebates though, if each one asks for UPC bar codes (original). Also, I've found CC rebates to be a huge PITA in the past. Had to call them several times. UNI

Memory Price Drop

In general I'd suggest staying away from AccessMicro's memory, i.e, Zeus. It's generic. I ordered one recently (a 256mb) and it came labeled as such, but after trying in 3 mbs, it was only 128mb. What a PITA I had to pay shipping back to them, but they did credit me out pretty quickly.
