Wow thanks for all the replies guys. I think I am definitely going to give that tera copy program a try. @mindless1 I already have a 2TB SATA 2 RAID 0 array that I record to inside the gaming computer. I was talking about how to copy it from that computer to my workstation computer.

570 and 580 Artifact Defects

Uh, but I'm getting artifacting (i.e. the point of starting this thread). Why would turning up the clocks make it go away?

My 570 is at 732mhz and 1900 memory clock. What should I set it to to see if it fixes the problem? I have also tried increasing the voltage, but that has no effect.

Has anyone noticed that there are a heck of a lot of people out there with either 570s or 580s that get artifacting on their cards for no real reason (i.e. their cards are not overheating, they have adequate power, proper drivers, etc. etc.)? I am one of them, and I have RMA'd my card to EVGA...

Um, how exactly do you purposely turn off smoke lol? That sounds like cheating to me, unless it just happens and you don't know why which is just an innocent glitch. Or do you mean you turn off in the graphics settings all of the bells and whistles that add cool effects but make it harder to...

You don't see smoke lol? I could be wrong, but I remember going to DX11 looked exactly the same to me as DX10 but I got noticeably less FPS.
