    I got the X800XL on Ebay for $225. It was just an irresistable deal. Thanks for all the help guys. I actually play HL2 more than Doom 3 as of now, but only because my old card just couldn't handle D3 real well. It'll be a completely new experience! Adios!

    I'm upgrading my 2.6 GHz P4 / 512 MB RAM / GeForce 5200 FX rig this summer, and for sure I'm getting 1 Gig of either Corsair or Kingston RAM and at least a 6800 or x800.
