RAM - FSB problems

Seems that the board was tested with DDR2 when it left the factory. My BIOS is 2.10. As in my post above... You need to physically clear the board's CMOS, there is a jumper near the battery.

homonculus - I have tried that and it prevented the computer from posting. Something interesting happened, though. I had to do a clear CMOS to get the computer to post again - a whole bunch of Checksum errors came up, even the date and time was reset. After setting the system up with CPU...

I tried doing what someone (forgot - its 1am at the pc...) It locked up during boot - no POST. So, I had to find a jumper block to clear CMOS. after shutting down the computer, opening the box, inserting block and waiting a few seconds, then removing block. Restarted computer and a whole...

ASRock 775Dual-VSTA

Even I am having DRAM:FSB issues when using this mobo with Core2duo and using ddr. I can not get the ratio out of 8:4 ratio... My system: E6300 2 512MB Kingston Value Ram pc3200 (ddr 400) ASRock 755-Dual VSTA ** set fsb to 300 just to get better performance - had not gone any higher...
