Battlefield 1 released!

Really hoping the map design and gunplay are on par with BC2/BF3. I've played every iteration, and felt everything up to BC2 had subpar mad design and infantry combat. BC2/BF3 were a serious step up for me. BF4 has abysmal map design and gunplay IMO.

StarWars Battlefront gameplay debut April 17th

Tried out the beta. Looks beautiful, but the gameplay is exceptionally boring. And even though the graphics are technically beautiful, the maps leave much to be desired. They're nothing but random open areas with snow or rocks. I like the soundtrack, and that's about it.

I never stopped playing BF3. Every once in awhile I reinstall BF4 and try it out, only to be quickly reminded of why I uninstalled it before. The engine/movement/animations/gunplay just feel terrible. The overall feel of the game is just off. I only wish there were still more decent BF3...

I don't mind getting accused of hacking. I do mind getting banned from servers though. I was recently banned from one of my favorite BF3 servers.

I have no interest in 3D or VR technology. It's a neat little sideshow gimmick, and may be somewhat interesting for a few singleplayer games...maybe. But there's no way I can imagine anyone playing a competitive multiplayer game on one, and those are basically all I play. I'll happily stick...
