LGA775 mATX Boards?

Thanks for the quick reply, the only g43 i see is Gigabyte GA-EG43M-S2H I have never run a gigabyte board, i assume there is nothing "surprising"?

LGA775 mATX Boards?

I need a mobo to go with the Q9550 I am ordering, I'd prefer mATX, as I find it easier to install them in my small tower. I will not be using multi-socket GPUs, I need onboard 2-chan audio, lan, 1394 would be good too, there are tens of boards that meet those requirements, price is a bigger...

is there a "proper" way? how do you pronounce it? i say eh-sus, but i just heard a commercial where they say you can get a free AH-SUS eepc, if you sign up now!

Content Creation

This latest gen of video cards seems to have a big boost in compute performance... but, i do not have a good handle on where the bottlenecks are for 3D content creation, i know that render tests, etc are generally bound by cpu, but i am not certain what factor the cpu and gpu play in...

i find this board is pretty poor at overclocking, maybe it is me though, it has been many years since I did any serious overclocking... it was a 1700+ and ran at something like 2.1 GHz after i unlocked it... but it died, and is thus one of the resons I don't spend much time on it.

the bios updates allow the board to support all the released 95W phenoms, the 125W quads don't work.

that's certainly on the table for next time, but i am trying to limit this upgrade to $250, in canada there is no way i could get a decent 775 mobo/cpu for that. at your rec. i did look at tom's (though i have not been a fan for about 6 years) and there isn't any results for the x3s...

These three processors are fairly close in price, I can't seem to find direct comparison benchmarks of them, I am looking to upgrade my x2 3800+ on the 95W AM2 asus m2a-vm , and I am not sure which to choose. I don't really participate in leading edge games, and I think my current 8600GTS...

quick nit-picky things: MSIL is officially CIL, it was never actually released as MSIL CIL code can run on the cross-platform mono-project (http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page) while the platforms differ in that the microsoft namespace is much different... it is much easier to port between...

k... i found a pretty good price on a OCZ ECC Regsitered 2x512 bundle... and actually i think the 242s with the bundle will likely be retail... though they don't indicate on their site
