can I use Dell Vista upgrade from my laptop on desktop?

The upgrade disk Dell sends will only work on your lappie. Stay tuned for work arounds... I'm sure there will be plenty when Vista starts to become more populated.

Bad Pool header

how do i burn avi to dvd

Im a fan of Boilsofts AVI to DVD... It will give you either a single mpg and/or video_ts folder.... Its auto aspect ratio setting is on the money every time.

Best way to take a DVD and convert to digital file

Keep in mind the difference in size between a typical divx converted movie (700mb - 1.4gig) to a straight ripped DVD left in its original format (>= 8.5gig), to formatted/shrunken DVD (>= 4.7gig)... I personally prefer to do my own reauthoring of original DVD's in order to rid them of all of...
