W7 is out of the question, it's bad enough that I'm running it this long (based on many others commenting on it) but I wouldn't even consider putting new equipment knowing new hardware support would be a disaster. ;) I have had auto-update turned off when this PC was built! I have NO intention...

How To Stop Explorer from opening window to C drive after booting

Some unrelated entry that I stopped. I somehow came across it by some luck. It was either something in the Startup folder and/or in MS Config. After over 500 views, since no one else responded, I didn't bother updating the thread. Sorry, I really forgot exactly what it was (it was a month ago)...
