geforce + firegl?

Thank you very much for all the input! Yes, all of these programs work fine but it is actual rendering that is slower. whats lagging my computer behind? I have a Q6600 and 1GB DDR667. only thing I can think of is my memory not being enough. maybe 2GB DDR800 would fix this problem? or...

Was wondering if any of you would know if this would work, if not I'm going to give it a try... Right now I am running a 7800GT which is fine and dandy for games but for rendering / video production ( 3ds max, avid xpress pro, photoshop... ) it doesn't always cut it, especially in 3ds max...

SLI, or not quite that...

@ jkresh thanks for the input, I'll do some research on the nvidia forums to see if there are any conflicts that people know of... @ eelw Actually I don't have it yet, I wanted to make sure this would work before ordering one.

SLI, or not quite that...

my EVGA 122-CK-NF63-TR supports SLI + 3rd graphics slot ( for future physics cards )... I do a lot of 3ds max as well as game. Is it possible to run an 8800GTS 320MB in one slot on my motherboard and run a Quadro FX1400.. and just run dual monitors. one from the 8800 and one from the Quadro...

why 3 PCI-E slots?

I just bought my EVGA 122-CK-NF63-TR LGA mb and noticed that by the specs it has 2 PCI-E 16X slots (for SLI). what exactly is the 3rd PCI-E slot for ( says 1 x PCIe Graphics expansion slot ) I'm a little confused on this... If I am running SLI what good would a 3rd card do me? unless...

Thanks SparkyJJO! Very informative, to be honest I've didn't even see that that wasn't a continuous supply... HUGH difference. and I like the one you got and posted, looks like its a possibility. I'll probably go for the 620w *note, I couldn't find the HX620W or HX520W but upon further...

Yeah, I understand that they are not "reviews" I just couldn't put my tongue, or fingers in this case, on the right word to use.. I have used Corsair myself and do like them! I'll probably go for one this time I just wanted to know if any of you have used these "XION"... looks like...
