Looking for a quick link... I used to use a site ages ago to get around my schools crappy content filter, where youd go and type in a URL in a little box, press enter, adn the site would bring that page up. The time has come when its useful again, but I cant find it or anything like it. Can...

What's the full name for "bud"?

Everyone calls me "Bud" My full first name is Glenn. When my mother was pregnant with me, she wanted to call me Glenn, but my father didnt want to. So she told him he had until I was born to think of something better. He didn't, so he decided to call me Bud, and it stuck.

NBC Extends Jay Leno's 'Tonight Show' Contract through 2009...$25 million a year

I think the prefect late night show would have Leno's monologe (Conan's pretty much sucks) and then Leno would leave and Conan would do the interviews. Itd be wonderful :)

Is this electrically possible?

To be honest, I dont know where the electricty is coming from. A teacher I'm not too familer with asked me to find out how to turn a 400A 12v DC current into a 300kV .5A DC curernt. I belive he said the amperage wasn't importaint, so if I adjusted Mday's calculations correctly, I'd have .016A? I...

Is this electrically possible?

I'm not to good with electricity past ohm's law, so bear with me. Say I have a power source, 12v and about 400A. Is there anything I can run the current through, so I get really low amperage (~.5A) and a rediculous amount of voltage (300,000v or thereabouts)? Thanks
