Thanks for the info! I have a 6150K8MD-8EKRS that I am having trouble using the AMD stock cooler on (temps too high) and I was thinking about getting the 64 Freezer Pro to replace it. I will now look at something else.
I actually have 2 of the 6150K8MD-8EKRS boards and am using a...
I opened mine up and so far, I see the CPU speed (HTT frequency) setting in the BIOS doesn't do anything. There is no BIOS option to change HTT multiplier or the memory divider - really need the memory divider to overclock :-(
Any opinions on how the KT600 board stacks up against the N2U400-A? I see the KT600 has SATA built-in, but is single channel DDR, and PCI/AGP is not locked.
I setup a N2U400-A/2500+ combo a couple days ago and it?s running great at 190MHz+ FSB. I wanted to replace my other machine, but it has...
Well if the condition causing Prime95 to fail occurs in a normal application, you can get data corruption, etc. I wouldn't feel safe running a system that I know fails Prime95 in just 1 hour or so. The failure did not seem to be heat-induced so it would appear the CPU I got has some paths that...
For those running at 200MHz FSB, did you try running Prime95? I ran it and it failed with a rounding error within 1.5 hours or so. I then switched to 166MHz FSB and it ran for over 12 hours with no errors.
I am running 1 PC3200 512MB DIMM. I believe the memory speed was 200MHz in both runs...
I am planning to get this board and currently have 2x512 PC3200. I would be interested to know if others are having success/problems with 2x512 in the ECS N2U400-A.
Thanks.
