Can I do a fresh install with an XP Upgrade disk

I want to buy XP upgrade, but also want to reformat my hard drive and install XP fresh. Can I do this using only the upgrade disks (and inserting my old Win ME disk at some stage to let Microsoft I have an earlier version) or do I first have to install an old version of windows and then upgrade...

Why is my new Dell Inspiron 4000 a real slow dog?

Yeah, I would like to know the answer to this as well, as this is exactly what I am trying to decide upon at the moment. The Asus is half the price of the ATI.

Can I stop Win 2000 from 'Preparing Network Connections' at boot up?

Too many abbreviations for me to understand. I just want it to stop from trying to establish network connections at start up. I only want it to do so when I actually want to connect to the internet, otherwise it is just a waste of time and slows down things.

Epson Photo 870 or HP 970c?

I've narrowed my printer selection down to the Epson Photo 870 or the HP 970c. As far as I can tell, these seem to be the top of the line from each manufacturer. Has anybody had experience with both these printers and can point the finger in any particular direction?

Poll: I getting a LCD Flat screen Monitor I need help choosing..
