**OFFICIAL** Diablo 3 Thread

Just so I could have a chance to get in the beta, I purchased the D2 Battle Chest for the 6th time. (I do not have any other Blizzard games). I once again realized why I stopped playing. I have averaged 5 hours a day playing. My wife wants to kill me.

The user who is buying Fermi most likely has a > 600 watt PSU.

What were the specs of the first computer you ever built yourself?

Ahh yes my first was well.. I remember adding the overdrive to it to get the equivalent of a Pentium 133 :) the days....

Nvidia Launches 300-Series Cards

They are going to sell tons to oem builders. They could care less about "people like us" when it comes to this card. It was not made for us.

It will just be like Fermi... slow out the gate then as prodcution becomes more efficient the availibility will increase.

Why are 4:3 monitors disappearing?

More screen real estate....You can see more, gives you a true field of vision as we see in widescreen.

Free Grand Slam at Denny's

I remember the day I passed a Ponderosa and the special was, "Buy a drink get a free buffet dinner." The line was so long and the people on line looked dirty/ scrubby. Then I realized why I don't eat there anymore. I usually bypass anyplace giving food out for free.

Anyone feel that they DONT need to upgrade?

I am not feeling the need to upgrade. While I just added a eVGA 285 GTX to my system I have not touched anything in 2 years. The system is fast enough for anything I throw at it. If anything an SSD is the move to make. I do play games, but nothing that I am currently playing is requiring me...

MS licensing for small start-up?

Remember as long as it is an authorized OEM reseller, there is no problem. Hence what Microsoft did for Vista, and are still doing for other software... Microsoft has given the go ahead for users to buy the low-cost OEM copies of Windows Vista now appearing on sites like Newegg.com; however...

There is no risk as long as you are buying that OEM copy with a piece of hardware from an authorized OEM provider.
