Windows ME strikes back ---from the grave

You can FORCE WinME to use the standard VGA Display Drivers so you can then properly clean-out the NVidia drivers and reinstall the correct version of Forceware... remember, the more current Forceware drivers don't support all GeForce cards... as previously recomended, the 6-series Forceware...

AGP cards compared

I'm glad my 6800GT seems itself to be almost neck and neck with both the 7600GT and 7800GS... while my card comes in 3rd in most tests of the three, it's a barely-noticeable one (only a few frames a second in most tests).

BFG RMA upgrades?

Good luck to you on that... the 6800GT is rarer and out of production longer, so maybe you'll be luckier then me (I have a BFG 6800GT too, but mine is working just fine).

GeForce 7 in Win98?

Well I already have a GF6 running in both 98 and XP, so I don't need "any-old" video card. The main reason I ask is that I might just be "coming into" a free GF7, so I was wondering if I could get it to work in 98... if not, I'll just stick with the GF6... at least I know it does work.

1.3 GHZ PIII?

What do you mean socket 775? I've been getting some MAJOR mileage out of my socket-478 systems... I still have three in the house, all in use (mine in my sig-line). I haven't found a need to go to 775, everything I run (even games) still runs well on our socket-478 systems.
