As you can see in my sig, thats my current system. Do you reckon its worth holding out for a P55/Core i5/DDR3 ram setup or should I just get AM3 now. Also, price wise will Core i5 and P55 mobos be affordable.

Hard Drive RAID0

I currently have a "Samsung HD501LJ 500gb SATA2 16mb cache" hardrive in my system and thinking about RAID0 setup with another 500gb. But the problem is, do u need to have another identical drive for RAID0 or not? ALso, what kind of performance boosts can i expect

i was just thinking, when will the Core I3's be released and what kind of price and performance can be expected from them? will the mobos for socket 1156 be cheap. also, will they be a good improvement over the phenom II processors

yeah thanks man, i live in australia so can't buy from newegg. most probably from ebay i will purchase. so i'm guessin i'll have to change over to ddr3 if i get phenom, so i';ll have to get new ram as welll.
