that sort of depends , if you are talking about dialup with a dsl modem, nothing is certain but you might not be able. sorry but it is one of the things that you will have to test out
ctrl+alt+del go to proccesses and end explorer.exe the startbar and desktop will disappear. then go to applications click new task and type explorer.exe that gives a fresh taskbar!
liveprotect could cause lag.. it takes a while to scan any active files .CAB .BAK .EXE when you dl or use them try checking disable liveprotect. if it works ... get a new AV
if it doesnt... get a new AV
start for winnt.exe (IN DOS)
during the start (blue screen) it will say press f6 for raid/scsi Drivers
press f6
when it is ready it will install raid drivers
Yes As far as i know , you can just delete the c:/windows folder. But that HD will NOT be bootable so make surethe other drive isnt hidden. AND it would besomething like the D: drive so you would have to change the path apps installed EVERY TIME!

You would have had , if you made a major hardware change. Extra HD, New Motherboard etc... But if you were careful , you could avoid activation, Im surprised that it didnt scan your hardware and say.

I Have Heard Of People that have had serious problems with their hard drive in the same ide cable as the ide cd drive. i was careful and took out my original CD-RW when i installed my DVD-rw to avoid any clashes
1)Go to command prompt
2)type CHKDSK
3)It will ask you about doing it on next restart
4)Say Yes Then Restart
5)With Luck It Will Fix Them

Just found this under BEST WAY TO RUN SCANDISK (use if the above Doesnt Work!)
I suggest you download the appropriate HD diagnostic utility...
