After researching for a while and watching a few videos, I've found that the Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL will leave enough room for RAM modules with medium sized heatsinks on most motherboards such as the ones on the G.SKILL Ripjaws X RAM. However it will not leave enough room for RAM with larger...
If I could do it over, I would get the low-profile modules. However, I have already purchased the ram. I'm just wondering if I should cancel the order while I still can, or if it will fit well with some minor adjustments.
Preferably, I'm looking for an answer from someone who owns this cooler and/or the ram. Thank you!
Would 4x8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series RAM fit under the Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BL CPU Cooler? Would it need any adjusting?
Unfortunately, I've already ordered the parts, but the option to cancel is...
I would get the Phanteks PH-TC14PE, but I'm not sure it's going to fit into my Corsair Carbide 500R as it is only 8.1" wide, and a reviewer said it didn't fit into the Antec 900 which is also 8.1" wide :/
Thanks, I might get the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. Do you have any recommendations for blue or black fans that cool as well as the stock ones on the Noctua NH D14?
My case is the Corsair Carbide Series 500R and the CPU i'm getting is the i7 3770k which I plan to overclock to 4.5GHz.The RAM is Corsair Vengeance 4x4 16GB Low-Profile, and the motherboard is an ASUS Sabertooth 1155 Z77 . Currently I am thinking about the Noctua NH-D14, but the beige and...

Not half as many of the DOA reviews as my current choice so I will use this one.
Yeah 1050 is ridiculous but I suppose I'll use it as its not much more and it is 80 plus gold certified.
I was looking at the Dell U2412M but was deterred by the IPS bleed on blacks and 'ghosting' so I stuck with a TN panel. Is the IPS bleed and ghosting/blurring really that bad?
I will get...
RE birthdaymonkey
I agree it is a cheap monitor. I have seen it in person and IMO it looks amazing for the price (loads better than my current laptop screen). I was thinking of getting a different mobo. What do you suggest for a different monitor and motherboard? I'm open for suggestions but I...

Also if you do leave this up then please consider deleting your quotes. I see how one could interpret that as a bad attitude and I have changed my posts to not sound so arrogant. I assure you that was not the tone I had in mind when I typed those. I am looking into changing some...

Let's not start an argument here. You are clearly more knowledgeable about PCs than me. The place where you say that this is in the title which is "Attention mid-range system builders" But I did misspeak as the system is definitely good for gaming. Sorry, I will edit my post.
