The complaints I had read about mouse lagging were from [H] and it was usually around the top right area of the desktop.

Guess it still exists. It doesn't happen for me in 10.10e so that's what I'll stick to.

Has 11.2 fixed the mouse corruption/flicker in the systray area for anyone?
I remember reading there was a mouse lagging issue as well. I hope these things are fixed.
I'm also using the 10.10e on my 6850. I'm reluctant to go to the later versions since I read the mouse flicker still existed in the bottom right corner of the screen. One of the later versions even introduced some mouse lag I read. I'm not a big fan of the new UI either and since the mouse...
I have a Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H and for a short period I had a 23" LCD via DVI + 17" CRT via VGA so I doubt the VGA and DVI share a video controller. It's possible the DVI and HDMI do share the video controller like the ATI discrete cards. I don't have enough monitors with the right outputs...
Yea I was more interested in cooler comparisons than O/Cing since O/Cing is very much YMMV. Disappointed to see it missing the Gigabyte and Sapphire models which are at present much more readily available than MSI and ASUS.

Gigabyte's dual fan might explain better performance than the ASUS DirectCu. The Sapphire cooler which keeps up with the Gigabyte one doesn't look half bad either...
Hmm.. you're correct. The TPU review shows the same limits for their ASUS 6850. BIOS differences could indeed explain it. Sapphire 6850s seem to have 850/1200 as their limits but it makes me wonder how changing such a simple setting in Afterburner could enable cards to go beyond such limits.
You cannot use CCC to break the 850MHz barrier. I am using MSI Afterburner.

CCC won't do over 850MHz. Afterburner will if you enable unofficial overclocking in MSIAfterburner.cfg in your C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner folder or where ever you installed it.

My Sapphire 6850 seems to be a pretty beastly overclocker. I have it at 930/1080 and it seems stable. I had to reduce it from 950 due to artifacting and 940 due to driver crashing so 930 so far seems good for stock voltage.
My idle clocks seem to work fine at 100/300 on the stock profile...

HWC says Sapphire Trixx can do voltage adjustments.
From the reviews I've seen, the ASUS DirectCu, Gigabyte Windforce X2 and Sapphire (non Vapor X - just the plain single fan) all cool within a degree or 2 of one another. Nothing differentiating these custom cooled cards which is really disappointing.
