A lot of humor is related to confidence. Being louder, more boisterous and confident will inherently make you a more compelling storyteller and more funny. Check out this blog that discusses improv comedy, but also relates to real life...

What do people mean when they say a movie was good but too long?

When I asked the question in my OP I had a feeling that when people say "good but too long" they were oversimplifying their criticism of movies in a way that inadvertently disguises the point they're trying to express. Judging by the different ways that people are interpreting the "good but too...

Is it that the movie dragged in some places or that the person was an idiot and forgot to take a look at the movie runtime? I hate it when people say a movie was too long.

Creative thinking - sleeping on right side of head?

Something I've noticed is that when I lie down on the right side of my head, as I'm falling asleep I have more creative thoughts and increased imaginative power. When I am falling asleep on my left side, I've got more quantitative brain power. Am I imagining this?
