Need suggestions for a table saw

No idea on the others but I received the Craftsman 28461 as a birthday gift last year and it has suited me well for light use. The rip fence (thing that you set the measurement at?) is a little questionable. There's a ruler on the front of the saw that you can set the fence at and lock it...

It's not load bearing. The boxes are 3.5" diameter...same width as a 2x4. What would I attach the drywall and corner bead to?

So I'm doing some remodeling in the kitchen and have spent all morning trying to figure out this out. How do you get an electrical box for a pendant light in a 2x4 header? I'm trying to frame in a bar area and the wife wants some pendant lights above the bar. Is this even possible in a 2x4...

Furnace turns on every 10 minutes

Not trying to hijack this thread, but.. My furnace seems to run about every 10 minutes as well, at least that once the temp gets below 20-30 degrees. My house is 1500 sqft (main level) with about 1000 sqft basement (partially finished, heated). The furnace is about 50,000 btu which seems...

Home addition question

Would the foundation have to be stronger if it is 2 story vs just one? Might bump the cost up a bit. Are you thinking basement or crawl space?

Is it difficult to install carpeting?

Buy a kenga backed carpet (carpet with pad attached) and it's extremely easy to install. Just measure, cut, and lay. Use tape around the edges if you'd like, definietly around the seams. We bought some for our basement and couldn't be happier.

How would I switch phones on Verizon?

I've purchased at least a half dozen phones on eBay and haven't had any problems. Buy from a reputable seller and you'll be fine.

Might buy a scooter

I have a 49cc Chinese scooter. Not sure where you are, but in MN anything above 50cc and you need a license. My intent was to ride it to work everyday but I feel like too much of a nerd riding it. Sounds shallow, but no matter how hard I try to justify the $$ savings I still feel like a dork...
