Audio cable for iphone 4?

This post reminds me of the original iPhone and my travails with trying to use Sennheiser headphones...the good old days. Hope the adapter works. I may have to look into that for the ol' iPhone...

To Do app for iPhone

First time I've seen this, and it looks awesome! I've been partial to Things in the past, but it's wickedly overpriced at $10 (not to mention the $50 Mac desktop client...) IMO. So, I guess that leaves me with the same recommendation: 2do!

3GS -> iPhone 4 - buying online, cutting mini-SIM

I've used an HTC Dream (T-mobile G1) under an iPhone data plan for a few weeks and no one at AT&T seemed to care, so no, you should have no problems, especially if you're just switching to another iPhone. The contract is still there.

What will I miss if I go 1 gen back?

Happy Core 2 Duo MacBook (aluminum) user here. At my price point I could have gotten a used Al MacBook or a new 13" MacBook Pro, and the differences are pretty minimal. Compared to a new Core i5 15" MacBook Pro, the performance gap widens a bit, but definitely not to a point where my system is...

Ok, so I'm getting a Mac. Which one to buy?

Maybe a refurbished/used iMac? A mini would be fine for "OS X learning purposes" but a bit paltry for anything beyond ultralight gaming. It would, however, make a good HTPC, if that's what you decided to do. IMO, last-gen iMacs are pretty decent gamers (depending on the model) and Apple usually...

I've had the same problem, although I haven't been fortunate enough to have Midomi for that long... Can't help but feel a little of the old bait and switch from Shazam, eh?

Do you use Mac Mail with Gmail?

I'm running two Gmail accounts through Mail right now (along with a MobileMe and a Hotmail account) and have had no issues whatsoever. What seems to be the "odd acting"? Maybe some more details would help. Alternatively, this probably isn't what you're looking for per se, but there are Gmail...
