3d Mark2000 score under Win2K with Ti200

I put a GeForce3 Ti200 in a PIII 733 box with dual boot Win98/Win2K. My 3d Mark 2001 scores seem about right considering it is only running with a PIII 733-- About 5000 under Win98 and and about 4050 under Win2K. Running 3d Mark 2000 I get can get over 6000 under Win98 but consistently only...

"new" boxed celeron- heatsink missing thermal material - help

They just sent me my "boxed" Celeron 633. However, the metal heatsink does not have any thermal pad on it. Could this be right? I think someone was screwing with it...anyhow, I'm guessing I shouldn't use this heatsink as is...can I buy a "pad" for the sink or use some other material I might...

GF3 Ti200 2D & Color Quality

strange Win2K "Task Manager" problem

I'm not sure exactly when this happened, but I've got a strange problem with my "Task Manager" in Win2K. I can open it up but its missing all the menu options...yes even after a machine re-boot. Not a big deal and everything else seems to work fine...but it's still annoying. I hope...

Hard drive question

Simple question, I want to get another hard drive. If I buy the Maxtor ATA/100 drive which uses an 80-conductor cable, can I still hook up my ATA/66 Drive to the 80-conductor cable as a slave and will this work? I'm aware that both still use the 40-pin connector, I'm just making sure.. thanks

Win98 install question...

Is it possible to install Win98/98se completely on the Hard Drive so that in NEVER asks you to "please insert the Win98 CD" again for any reason? I vaguely remember hearing that you could copy all the CAB files into a directory and this would work somehow... Z

Sony monitors and BNC

Anybody use a BNC connection with their Sony monitor? I have a GDM-F400 that's starting to "ghost" lately. Tried a BNC connection for kicks,cause I heard they are good, with Win2000 but got a yellow very faded picture on screen...don't know what I'm doing wrong. Sony GDM-F400...

DVD Software Decoder

I just got me a 12x DVD and watch all movies on my 19" Sony screen. I have both WinDVD and PowerDVD and use Win2000. The quality of WinDVD and PowerDVD is almost identical...however I think WinDVD has the better picture overall (it's very close). PowerDVD is a little too dark and I can't...

Radeon DVD under win 2K??
