Shot In the Dark, Rocovering Lost Outlook Attachment

I know this is a real shot in the dark, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any advanced way to recover lost changes to an Outlook attachment. Here's the situation. In Outlook 2007 my boss opened an attachment and worked on a .doc for hours. She saved throughout, but never did a "save as"...

Thanks for the tips all. I just don't get it though, even in the reviews for those $80 Razors people complained about the wires shorting out after 6 months. Regular head phones seem to last forever, or at least until the speakers blow, but add a microphone, and suddenly the wires become too...

Good wired mouse for smaller hands?

Windows7 lockups and IE

A friend of mine was consistently getting BSODs after a windows 7 patch (we think) changed a TCP/IP setting. Once he toggled the TCP/IP setting the problem went away. This was on a brand new Asus high end machine so their mobo or network driver might have had something to do with it. Might be...

Choosing a Backup solution for Windows 7

So does anyone out there have a backup solution they are happy with? I love Mac OS Time Machine, but I've read horror stories about Norton Ghost, and this thread doesn't contain any glowing reviews either. I'm in the same boat as the OP, looking for an incremental/differenctial backup...

Mac OS Mouse Acceleration

Cool thanks for inputs. I didn't even notice how differently the mouse behaves because I had only used the trackpad for 3 weeks. But already within 3 weeks, I can't stand using non-mac trackpads.

Mac OS Mouse Acceleration

This is my first Mac, I'm very happy with almost everything but the mouse acceleration is driving me crazy. Is there any way to turn this off? They shouldn't call it acceleration as much as deceleration. When trying to make subtle moves, the mouse seems super slow or unresponsive. Bleh.

Agreed. We didn't PvP in SWG to farm honor points or gear. We PvP'd because there was a player city of the opposite faction just over the hill from our player city! MMOs need to give players lots of options as far as playing the game their own way. Blizzard fought this fight on all...

Yeah Josh, you do raise a good point. I wasn't trying to say that a 3 month game is an automatic failure, it's just not what I'm looking for. Anyone know of a good sandbox/pvp game? :P

I hate Steam.

Yeah I agree. But WoW is such a juggernaut, I can't help but think there are social/friends and family forces at play here. The game experience is enhanced by healthy server populations, and most people are willing to play a slightly less fun game (in their opinion) to play where their friends...

Macbook Gaming Heat Discussion

Well, I tested the istat nano widget. I saw 84C on the CPU, but then that came down to about 80 or less. I guess there was some delay in the fans getting cranked up. I was playing WoW with just the laptop sitting on my legs.
