Didn't mean to sound like I was flaming you, just that some of this propriatery equipment, that is made for specific companies, will not work in other computers, of course in this instance, it just isn't so. Glad to hear it's running good.

I see this card was made for Compaq.. How good does it work in your puter? Do you have a Compaq? I bought a video card once made for Gateways, did not work in my puter, so I try to stay away from these specific types of cards...

Cheap vid cards???!!!

I also had the same problems, all the jumpers were right, removed everything but the video card, tried it with another video card, tried it with another stick of ram, flashed the bios, made sure I had all the drivers installed, that didn't matter was getting the same message with or without the...

Does this temp differential seem right?

Thermal Paste or Tape???

Sorry for wasting your time...did a quick search on google and came up with a couple of articles..you definitly want to use "JUST" the paste, it seemed silly to think that you would use the tape and paste together, but I wanted to be sure, I know these t-birds get plenty hot....
