Cable Routing Suggestions

Finishing a build and not sure where to route the video card power cords. I may add a fan later in the spot to the right of the bottom mounted power supply. It would be blowing air right where I currently have the video card power cords going. So is it good as is or should I route them above...

It's complicated but it doesn't make sense for me to OC. I'm looking for value and hope to shave money where possible without compromising quality. Would a 550w PS be ok? I figured a 620/650 was the sweet spot for efficiency and noise.

Thank you. Good catch on the memory, I had the wrong type listed. I'm using the memory from my old build and it is indeed DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800). Now, I've never OC'd, mostly because I'm intimidated by it, and because if hardware goes awry, its hard to fix it. But if I changed to a z97 board...

Inspirion 3647. it has vga and HDMI so that should work. Celeron G1820 Proc.

I do and it has no requirements other than at least windows xp. She's been using my A6 AMD equipped laptop with no problems, but it's been very awkward to have connected on the desk. It's pseudo quad core and less than 2ghz. I prefer not to get refurbished because I don't know of any...

Telecommuting pc?

Wife needs a pc to telecommute from home. She logs into a virtual desktop and needs to use 2 monitors, but other than that, everything is handled by her work. What is the minimum she'd need? Celeron? C2Duo? I'm not used to underbuilding a pc.

M500 boot problem

Well the bios can see it now because the win 8 disk formatted it. I think the mbr got corrupted which of course would cause boot errors. i'm just paranoid now.

Thanks for the input so far. Yes, I'm on a bit of a budget. I chose the i3-4130 because $130 is my budget for a proc and had figured about $110 for a GPU. Maybe there is a lower cost AMD APU or cheaper intel option that would be fine for my needs. Maybe I need my expectations set...
