Inspiron 1520 - Unable to boot from CD/USB

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Got windows loaded by swapping the HDD and loading windows on another laptop. Then, I put the drive back in the original laptop. I did need to get drivers from Dell's site, but everything looks to be working now

Anybody have memory lying around? Looking for: 1 or 2gb sticks of DDR2 PC2-5300 for some aging desktops that a coworker of mine would like to "upgrade" (Dimension 4700 and 3100). Both are currently running 512mb RAM.
