There is NOT a single VCE that you can study to prepare for the 70-458 test. You must study **all** the VCE files listed above and have a decent understanding of SSIS. Just passed this exam. I say that the dump is "valid" or "Invalid". What I can tell you is that The Database Administration section is well covered by the dump so that part is "Valid". As for the Designing Datawarehouse section(especially SSIS and DQS), you CANNOT rely on this dump alone. Read up on using the CDC Data Source and Splitter and pay attention to the drop down options. Also read up on WebService as a source (note that there is no WebService source but rather a WebService task that writes output to a file or variable, I got that in my exam and luckily I knew it). Also read on the "Required" and "Sensitive" properties of PROJECT (not package) parameters. Master the difference between ForEach and For Loop as they test BOTH in a different scenarios. Read about Transasction Isolation and when to use "Required" and "supported" for BOTH package and task within. Read on Data profiling Tasks (I got this wrong) - To get Min, Max and Avg of a column select "Column Statistics Profile" and NOT "Column Value Distribution Profile" like I did (just confirmed with MSDN). Most questions on Package Deployment and Execution are covered by the dump. OLEDB Destination - using TABLOCK vs Reducing Rows per batch for large loads to speed up load. Lastly for the Administration piece it's important to know that "ASYNCHRONOUS_COMMIT" CANNOT fail over Automatically (read it up on MSDN). If any AUTOMATIC failover is required, you must use "SYNCHRONOUS_COMMIT". Also read up on the ENTIRE syntax for adding the secondary. The dump only shows only part of the script. The exam had the entire script and the portion that differed in the options was outside the script the dump covers. Lastly, be VERY careful with the time ESPECIALLY on the Designing Datawarehouse section. You can EASILY run out of time as it is new/challenging. If you don't know the answer, select your best guess, mark the question and move on to answer things your know. Good luck, I'm done with the upgrade to SQL 2012.

Exam A Q 37. i had this question in part 1 today. for some reason there is no backup sql 2005 but only perform vss backup on 2012

Why would you first modify the SP with execute as Owner, and then modify it again with execute as {newlogin} ?
Wouldn''t the answers A and B be more correct ?

I am wondering if the questions in that file are really almost all questions that appear? The 70-463 file has a lot of questions that are not listed here. Is it really not necessary to take a look at the 70-463 file?
The 70-457 exam had a lot of questions from 70-461 and 70-462, but this 70-458 seems to be missing a lot of 70-463 questions!?

Each user need request permission:
User1 be able to give access to the db
User2 should be able to delete, update, select data from tables
User3 Should be able to create procedures, tables

Pick each role for the users

db_ddladmin
db_owner

The answer for Exam A, Q53 can't possibly be A, as that would not allow the creation of indexes on the secondary. The only option that satisfies the up-to-the-minute aspect of the question and the requirement that the secondary be writable (adding indexes) is F.
