I built a virtual 2012 server and tested this, added disks 1 at a time to the storage space, requires 5 disks before it offers to create a 3 way mirror, I have found many conflicting articles myself.

The SAN Only support fibre channel connection.
So, I think it can not support iSCSI.

@Gary, D9 states SAN & only supports fibre connections. The point is that they are failover clusters, & you plan on implementing 15 'highly available' VM's. Even though you need to store on SAN, they need to be available in case of failure, so C & D is what would need to be configured.

Hi Guys, passed today with 9** after looking at Omar's VCE dump. Some questions in the exam have different answers to select from, especially within the certificate sections. Had about 8 drag & drop questions. Have a look at the dump but also check out technet articles. For everyone wondering about the DISK question, it is 2, 3, 3. Asks for minimum number of disks & even with 3 way mirror, you would need 3 disks at least.

What was you answer on Q14 Exam A?

I used my owned dump. Customized for my style of studying. If you read all the comments here you might noticed that we were working out some answers together and I updated my dump with the corrections. I am pretty sure that I screwed up at least 6 of the 7 new questions.

By the way, I took the test in Austria and not in Switzerland cuz it was a bit cheaper there :-)

I believe your dump has D27 wrong, shared nothing live migration in 2012 allows migration without shared storage. Option 1 is better as its less servers.

It is 3 Fileservers for sure.
FS1 for R&D department (IMHO, cuz if you give the R&D the BackupOp role, they can access more then just there files) and to isolate them I would deploy a single FS for them.
FS2 for Finance Managers
FS3 for HR and Sales

For Exam D Q7, I just finished replicating this in a test lab environment.

Answer is confirmed A - modify the registry on server1. This is done on the Standalone root CA to extend validity period (certutil -setreg cavalidityperiodunits xx)

If it was an enterprise root CA, then it will be CAPolicy.inf on server1.

according to the question
Server2 is sub-CA and has to be get certificate from Server1 (standaloneRoot CA)

The validity period that in registry affect certificates that is issued by Stand-alone CAs.Default ia 1 year. CAPolicy.inf on root CA affects the validity period of the Root CA certificate.
So the answer is modify registry on root CA (server1) so it issues certificate to SubCA (Server2) with validity period of more than 1 year. Hope my English is understandable enough.

This may be my last comment and I don't want to ruffle feathers but I want to try to help others as you've helped me. I ran through MFB latest vce.zip that was posted on this thread and found 13 questions with different answers than what I used for my passing 760. Now, of course I didn't get a perfect score but I don't see a way that those 13 changes are all correct! I'd still rely on Skipper's info plus a couple of earlier individual corrections prior to Skipper's pass. Good luck! I can't tell you how relieved I am to be done with 414 although I clearly need to spend a lot more time researching CA scenarios.

In the "Datum" section..test.whatever you call it.. question 10 has the wrong answer. The right answer is: "B" Export the server authentication certificate and provide the certificate to Trey Research.

Passed exam with score 700. "Design and Implement Identity and Access Solution" score very low.

Passed with 760 today following skipper's lead AND paying attention to different correction notes from MFB and others. This dump isn't going to guarantee a pass but it is getting really close except for the CA category which is STILL kicking my arse. As mentioned, I went with skipper's answers/corrections except: D-Q6: I went with 5 root clusters; D-Q12: I went with answer D - I wish I could remember the exact question but it was about making sure Server1 could issue certificates. I'm sure I botched it. Anyway, this dump CAN work if you can sift through the corrections. I think future dumps will make more corrections but Identity and Access Solutions was just as bad as when I failed -- I just happened to excel in the other categories.

worst scored part for "Design and Implement Identity and Access Solution" only 45% correct.
still kind of risky to take this exam at this stage.

I passed with 790 using the answers on this dump. My only weak erea was the CA questions, and those are all you need to work on to score 850+ I did find that the correct answer to D18 is A.

I also failed today 641, was not impressed because there was lots of mistakes on previous VCE's so I looked at CBT nuggets and found answer to some of them but yet invain, was thinking if 4 other people want to work with me and each take a section and go find the answers. Don't look at the answers give and after a week we end back here and give each other what we come up with, I just don't want to pass I want to pass with **** any one willing?

Not sure exactly what was said to upset you but if you're referring to my comment to Tido then I'll state my case that nobody can come on here complaining that they didn't pass, We're under no illusion of what we're all doing here which is, let's face it, trying to make an easy path to certification - I've done two MCSE's in the past, they're very time consuming, I know my stuff, I work for govt as a project engineer but I am busy enough doing that without spending months studying for this too - If you can piss further than me that's great, maybe you've got a bladder infection that needs some medical attention.

Yesterday I failed with 665 using one of the dumps here, you'll notice I put my mark up as soon as I failed to inform others, but I didn't bitch about it, it's just the way it is.

@ALL This dump is the dump I uploaded. It is missing a lot of changes that have been made since. I uploaded that dump this morning and it should be published in a day or two. I passed the exam with 790 and the only area that was weak was the CA questions. Even on the one I uploaded today, there are changes that should be made. D18 answer is just A and the question about 2 and 3 way mirrors is 3 3 5. You can see details of these changes on the MFB message board.

Here are my answers to some of the questions:

Exam B Q- 6 should only require 2 file servers. Using NTFS and/or Share permissions on the sales manager's folders to limit access to their department only doesn't require a separate server. What does require separate file servers is the ability to view only the audit (file access) logs for two separate departments, since the events for both departments are written to the same log. So two file servers will suffice.

Exam B Q 7 - You need to deploy WSUS in both offices, and point that site's clients to the local WSUS server. To have all updates approved via the Main office WSUS server, it must be in autonomous mode, and the branch WSUS server in Replica mode. All applicable answers: A., B.,E.,F.

Exam B Q 5 - You need OpsMgr to monitor the Event Logs. VMM by itself doesn't monitor Event Logs, it takes either creating Alert thresholds with Perfmon, or using OpsMgr. Service manager can assign incidents. Although Orchestrator would be a helpful addition, only OpsMgr and Service Manager are required. VMM's primary purpose is to manage hosts, host clusters and VMs. OpsMgr primary purpose is monitoring operations (even in a VM environment). Answer A.

Exam C, Q 10 - Multiple VM's with same config., minimize the amount of time required to duplicate the VHD and the amount of space used. Answer A., Differencing disks. (Note that VMM2012SP1 doesn't have a way to create them using the GUI, only via powershell, but you can use WS2012 HV Manager to first create the differencing disk, then use VMM2012 to create the VM and attach it.
