The 70-640 exam is 50 Q, multiple choice and D&D. Exam duration is 2 hr 30 min, plus added time (30 min) if you are in a non-english speaking country. Note that you might have a survey before and after exam. You need 700 pts to pass, and maximum is 1000 pts.

@AP - the question is "what you should do FIRST". First, you create a new fine-grained password policy, just then you'll apply it.

Another day, another error, in the Exam L: if member servers and DCs run Windows Server 2008, they can't use advanced audit policy. Therefore, "modifying the security settings of the Default Domain Policy GPO" is wrong (with an even pointless explanation).

From now on, I'll stop reporting errors. There's evidently no interest for whatsoever form of "quality" in here, I hope that in the real world you'll be better windows admins, passing an exam just won't make the difference there :)

Don't count on it. M$ is changing several exam's from july 1st. The 70-640 are among those, that's why there are new Q's. To be on the safe and sure, write your exam no later than june 30th. Read all about M$ exam change, use Google..

Another error, item 11 of exam L, you cannot install an enterprise CA in windows server 2008 r2 standard, you need the enterprise edition. Come on guys, this is lame.

Passed with 980/1000, feeling like a cheater too. But when I see the others doing this this way, so not feeling such bad. Even six two-hour excersises and learning general theory wouldn't be enough to pass this exam without this dump. Unfortunately, most of things only memorized, hope sometime I will understand it. But hard to tell, whether MS is the way, where I want to go. :)

Got a 940/1000 with this one. Highly recommended. A few typo errors, but everything appears to be correct.

But to take into consideration Compu,there r some mistakes n this dump coz i answered all questions right as i study it n this Dump but i found that i answered 3 questions false !!!!:O!!!!

it was multiple choice with some questions being a bit lengthy ,
you should be fine if you go through compumaster

There is at least another wrong answer, the question 8 of exam J. It has no sense to run "djoin.exe" from a Windows 7 computer as it's not explicitally asked (even mentioned, actually) - instead, makes perfect sense to upgrade a domain controller to Win Server 2008R2 because djoin.exe to provision the computer data must be done on a R2 machine.

To CompuMaster, is there a possibility that you can update which 5 questions you made new answers and which 3 new questions did you add to the dump, since the exam every time open randomly and the number of the questions that you mentioned at your first page is not the correct number any more, maybe PDF file? anyway big thnx for your great work

Passed yesterday and all questions are from the dump. I did moderate in the survey. I did the MS book, CBT nuggets, and then this dump and passed with 900/1000 there may have been one or two new questions but thats it.

Once again thanks to CompuMaster, please dont just rely on the dump otherwise the certification will mean nothing. Set a lab up and do the practise tests. Good luck to all.

This dump is 100% valid in Poland. There's only one new question as far as I remember. In experience survey before the exam I put all answers into moderate. However, questions during the test did not really reflect declared knowledge. Thanks again to CompuMaster and Tyrion for contribution!

Guys, if you expect the answers to be in exactly the same position as the dump, surprised when they are shuffled and don't do any other revision then it kind of makes a mockery of the qualification

i just wrote my exams now. passed wit 840/1000. All questions from tyrion (239 questions) and compuMaster (242 questions) are still valid in Nigeria. Saw two out of the 3 news questions as updated by CompuMaster (i.e question 240 - 243). Thanks 2 all for your comments.

Good luck buddy, you can do it. Just go for the pass not a clean sweep. Pass is all it needs. I passed my 70-680 Windows 7 on second time and only with 700.
