Today I passed the 70-642 exam, with score 820, I watched all the related cbtnuggets videos, and tried out almost everything (what I could try.) on a virtualized server. However, I used this dump for self-test purposes as well, and as I experienced there were no new questions on the exam, but I was not sure about 3-4, and the other ones were wrong for sure. So, it could be possible that around 10-15% of the dump questions has wrong answers, what means for me, learning only the dumps could not be enough.! But can help.

Alhamdolillah, Passed the exam with a score of 850 today. This dump is still very much valid in Pakistan and i didn't need to consult any other dump. Although there were 3-4 new questions but this dumps is still good enough to take you through if you have prepared it well. Good Luck.!

Its become clear to me that the testing Centre has charged me full price for the exam, then put the exam through Pro Metric as an "IT Academic Exam" which is half the price so they can make twice as much money. My invoice was for 800 and the Prometric confirmation shows price as 395. I emailed them and asked them to change it. But if its the same exam then I guess I should be ok.

My biggest worry is that there are SIMs, as I have not practiced them as I am not expecting them.

Im writing on tuesday. studied using Testout, Trainsignal as well as the Bobycar, cereal and icemc dumps.

Just checked my Prometric confirmation and they have put me down for 73-642. which are the SIM exams. are the questions the same?

I am going to insist tomorrow that they change this to 70-642 as I can see people have written 70-642 today as well as Friday so they couldnt possibly have discountinued it.

This dump has so many wrong question , but at least , this dump has the news questions on the exam . so , study hard bobycar's dump , use this one here just for the news question . There is no way to failed .

Took exam today. I failed with a 610 only because I was not as prepared as I should have been. All most all of the questions were from this dump I was just unsure of the correct answers. One correction of mine, about mp3 q

You need to be NOTIFIED by email when users save .mp3 files to the shared folders.

What should you do?

#Diferences beetwen Active and passive filter is that, active filter denies you to save file to shared folder, and passive allows saving but NOTIFY the admin, or some person, so my answer is:

1. Install FSRM
2. Create PASSIVE screening template
3. Link the template to the shared folder

Failed this exam today with 650 score.
Got new from pdf file and + 2-3 new questions.
Its better to study with newest dump, with 304Qs.

Got plenty of new questions. was 54 questions in total. dump is still valid i guess as the majority of the questions came from it. I guess microsoft changes the questions a bit more. so that people who actually know some stuff can pass rather then any other people, who just use dump to pass. like you see many people in interviews that I conduct. say they got this certification and that. but dont know for *BLEEP* about it. giving everyone else a bad name.

Without the MAC adres you won't be able to create a reservation.

passed the test on friday, 53 questions, 45 from the dump, 8 totally new and most of them are different than the 4-6 options american style questions, 3 questions slightly changed, most of the new questions were easy picks.
almost all the new questions are posted in previous comments, verify your answers using the technet - that's what i did.
there are no simulations, there are couple of questions with screenshots, and you need to select the right tab or option, (interactive active screens).
there are wrong questions in the dump (i count 4) - don't rely only on the dump, verify your answers using technet, make sure you know the material, and practise exam objectives on virtual enviroment.
overall the dump is ok.
be prepared for anything, use your brain, and not only your memory - and pass for sure!

Last question on the PDF doc (RRAS Filters), Correct answer is B&D.
You have to configure an outbound filter also to allow the established tcp connection, just like when you configure Firewall rules.

For the DHCP Reservation question, you need to have the MAC address of the client in order to create the reservation.

For the backup question, you need to use the Task Scheduler Tool for sure, Windows server back let you create backups but you cannot modify them, and the question states you need to modify the time of the backup, besides you cannot make backup run programs or scripts with backup process.

I will take the Exam tomorrow , hope that this dump is valid at Egypt till

Regarding the backup question. As far as I know you cannot run an additional script after the backup with Windows Server Backup, so the right answer is Task Scheduler.

I wouldn't put incorrect answers up. Talked with someone that was MCITP 2k8 EA and Technet'd them. Those answers posted are the ones i'm studying. your choice. but i know they're right :-)

Passed today with 860. Most questions (about 45) were from Bobycar. And about 5 questions which are mentioned here in the comments of others. Got 53 questions total. Answers were rearranged. You can practice that in Visual Certexam manager, Exam, Options. Perhaps this is why some people think they got "15" new questions?
Of course it helps if you have some hands on experience and if you have done a course/watched the cbtnuggets or trainsignal videos.
And if you have done more microsoft exams, then you know that if the questions states that you want to change something for all the workstations in your company, that microsoft is looking for a group policy. Think the Microsoft way :-)

Passes today in South Africa with 840! 75% of the questions from This Bobycar Dump 17 November 2011. You however need to do your own verification and studying using Google, Technet etc. The reason is that there is a lot of re-aranging and re-wording on some answers which can easily confuse cramers. The questions are mostly same wording. About 10 new questions which are not in this dump but are listed by Viktor from Macedonia below.

--- there's about 8+ options. not certain about the answer- but I put install 1) FSRM; 2) configure a file screen template; 3) apply the template to the shared folders (I think that's what it was)
4) I had this LONG question about configuring a firewall server with many requirements (i.e. opens fewest ports, to allow internet access out/ access in from the internet, secure connection, and, PPTP)
--- there were ~6 (multi-line answers). 3 had "Ports: (any)" (so I think those are wrong), it basically left 3.two create an inbound filter options and one create an outbound. basically look for TCP: 80 - not (any)- can't remember the rest
5) had a chose the tab on a DNS dialog box where you find something for configuring a secondary zone or something like that. not certain the answer- but it's not a,b,c,d. it's literally select the tab (which don't open- you just click the tab). I think the answer was SOA
6) and the last one I can remember off hand was another select a section in a dialog box. a tree pain showing sites. the question was asking you to select where you would go to see all connection failure attemps. sorry- brain fried but I can't remember what it was. there were 2 sections, main and quickconfig. both had the same options but QC had 1 more. I figured it was to look at statistics.
I am fairly certain there were more questions not in this guide- but- that's all I can remember

About the mp3 question. Check section Manage file server reources there is a question on how to prevent user to place audio and video files. I guess it is the same that apply. You need to undertand the questions and look beyond the borders of the actual text. there are more the 1 way to desribe things .

Reporting on the exam I took today. I passed with a 760/1000. 54 questions. At least 10 new questions, and maybe as many as 15. One simulation which just involved selecting the correct admin tool from control panel. Several ordering of steps question. You need to know your shit, because studying of this dump alone may not be enough to get a passing score.

You will have to study the entire dump. You will get 50 questions and maybe more. The ones beyond 50 are trial questions and don't count against your score. You will never know what the trial questions are, though. You have to study all questions, because you will get a random assortment of questions on the exam.

I study by going through the first section and answering to the best of my ability. I usually get 50%. Then I go through the section one or two more times until I get 100%. Then I do this on the next sections. Then I take them all. Check my scores on each section. Then take those sections again as needed.

I'm not feeling good about this exam, because I've only studied this one dump for two nights. I take it tomorrow morning. I get 950/1000 when taking the entire dump, but some of these comments from today are worrying me.

Know your stuff.way to post and ad for a $500 scam course. Not saying this site is perfect, but it DEFINITELY HELPS. What doesn't help is Microsoft having significant amount of test material that isn't covered in the course book.

Hi, I passed today with 910/1000. I had 53 questions, I had about 10 new Questions. From which at least 4 of them where simulations(IPSec monitoring, backup and restore, FRSM, sorry can't remember the last one).

I studied the testout Labsim along with the @bobycar's practice exam to prepare myself. If you only study @bobycar's practice exam you will take a risk to fail this exam on a couple points. so, know your stuff!
