Anyway Question 158 has been answered correctly. You must remove the deny or you cant use the conditional expression.
Upgrading the domain server to 2012 has nothing to do with it. Server 2008 does not support condition expression, but 2012 does. The 2012 File server sits with in the 2008 domain and functions. Therefore Remove the deny from the group or you cant do anything then add the conditional expression. The Answer is A,C.

From the Upgrading your Skills book:
To implement DAC, you need at least one Windows Server 2012 file server, at least one Windows Server 2012 domain controller (one at each site is recommended), and Windows 7 clients or higher. In addition, specific features such as access-denied assistance require Windows 8. The domain functional level must also be set to Windows Server 2012.
In other words, just adding a 2012 DC isn't going to cut it. It needs all the 2k8 DCs upgrading to 2k12 and the domain functionality raised. Whereas, if Group1 has denied permission from Folder1, it will never get access no matter what.
I'd say remove the Deny permission.

In fact, 417 are three exams into one exam. You get about 22 questions regarding 410/411 and 412. You have to pass all of them to get the 417 exam.

Regarding the question number 16, which dc must be available, i did a lab with 4 dcs (2008 R2 and 2012) as mentioned in the question, and i did try to stop DC1 i couldnt promote a new DC to the child domain , also i did stop Dc3 and i couldnt promote the new dc so the answer is confused here maybe Dc1 and maybe Dc3, the main difference between the two scenarios is when you are stopping DC1 it gave you the error at the first while choosing the child domain and when you are stopping the DC3 it gave you the error at then while checking the prerequisit, so which answer should we choose ??

I've failed this exam twice using another test engine (never failed a MS Exam before), i studied like mad and was turning out 100% on the test engine I was using. The first time I just failed on one section then I went away and studied really hard but then got a lower score on ALL sections, that points to the material I was using as bad.....Now looking at this I can see they are the same questions but these answers make MORE sense, I'm also checking the unknown/not sure questions on google. I'm going to study this one and then take the exam in a few days.

I didn't pass but dump is very valid. There were about 6 or 7 new questions on the 70-412 test, which is why I failed but was very close. It sucks that I have to retake the entire exam due to a couple of questions. I am scheduled again on Dec. 6 and I don't plan on failing again. Thank goodness for the second shot vouchers!!

Hi Everyone,

Passed today with 9xx in LATM! This dump is spot on despite the fact that there appears to be some incorrect answers. The exam was a total of 62 questions which comprised of questions from 70-410, 70-411 and 70-412 with each section being in the form of an individual exam where you were able to mark and review questions but, once you ended the exam for each section you could not go back to that section.

My advice would be to definitely learn all of the questions in the drag and drop section of the dump as I had almost all of those. In the process of learning the dump, I was also attempting to confirm the answers both in my lab and the Internet and as a result, I have made some changes to some of the answers and also attempted to add references to all questions.

100% valid passed in US on 11/19 all scores 850+. Couple changes in the questions but for the most part was dead on.

The question regarding forced updates for GP was changed. On this test the answer is use GPMC console, the exam I took did not have that as an option. Answer I chose was Invoke-GPUpdate.

The perfect answer for this question would be Loopback Processing.
If it wasn't an option, then the best wrong answer would be GPO links.
Note that Item level targeting is like Security Filtering, WMI Filtering but for a specific policy inside the GPO.

Don't move this 2008 to 2012 upgaring exam. because. i got 890 passed score. but i didn't got certificat yet. i read a news on online in srilanka this exam couldn't do. this exam my do other countries students. so. DONn't do that exam. you may follow 70-410 , 411, 412. don't worry. we can get more knowledge to study these instead of that.

I'm trying to sit the 70-417 at the end of November or beginning of December and was wondering if you would give your opinion on the below question?
