This is a Valid exam question , your dump only allows us to highlight the firewall rules. But there is options for the selected drop down rules.

eg , Firewall State: should it be On or Off?

Your right, Q99 must have two answers.
1. Deselect "Allow Remote Assistance.".
2. Click "Allow connections from computers running any version .".

Just a question.
For Exam A, Q99,

since it asks that you "need to prevent users from sharing their desktop sessions.", would the check box for the "Allow Remote Assistance." be an appropriate setting to configure (deselecting it?).

At the moment it is not part of the valid answer.

Passed today with a 918 score. Only 1 question that I didn't not recognize. Buddy in the same class failed said he recognized about 20 questions. Different pool of questions? Not sure because we studied together 2 hours before the test and he said, looking at my machine, he hasn't scene a couple of the questions. Not sure what happen to him?

Does anybody know how to config lab for this exam on virtual machines (How many servers and client computers)? I want to pass this exam with hands on practice. So I need to config my small domain on Oracle Virtual Box I need manual how to config each computer. Its 4>1>2>3, as rename the image first to avoid problem, just incase if you like to redo the update. Doing the update on the original, is not a good idea. But, thts another last option should be , to rename the original and rename the updated image to original name - boot.wim

No one. If you already had the 70680 exam you will have one extra certificate, MCSA windows 7. Otherwise you will have only this Certified IT Professional Certification

@AnonyR Same here. I get this message when I put my voucher info in. i've tried different browsers, different computers but no luck. When I googled this problem, I found out that many people experienced the same problem and were able to register after 8-10 days of trying. So annoying. I never had this problem with Pearson.

Yes, i've the same MCSA. With our MCSA we can upgrade to Windows 8. But you can upgrade to MCSA Windows Server 2012 even only with this exam. The 70680 is not needed.

Hi guys. I've been trying to register on Prometic to take my 70-686 exam for two days already. I get an error saying that I need to contact their webmaster. Did any of you experience such a problem? Thank you.

So what certification do you get with this just the mcitp in windows 7 desktop administrator? Because i have done the 680 and 685 and have got my mcsa.
So i cant do server 2012 exam until i do the 686?

Yes, with this you can upgrade to MCSA Windows Server 2012
With 685 you can upgrade only to MCSA Windows 8

You'll find the answers to your questions on the Microsoft Certifiation sites.

Studied over books and ITDVDs.com. Studied this test, knew it very well, failed by missing two. The Case Study's ARE A MAJOR PART. Know these like the back of your hand. Had both case studies, 10 questions together.

This file is still valid. Just had my exam last 31 May 2013. I passed, score was 8xx! :)

Hey, Gill or everyone competent i need your opinion about Q130 (9th element from "Designing a standard image"). It says that correct order is:
1) Mount image
2) Add packages and LPs
3) Commit changes and unmount
4) Copy and rename image to boot.wim
BUT according to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd744533(v=ws.10).aspx, copying and renaming image should be first action taken, ie 4->1->2->3. BTW i guess that's irrelevant should be that action first or last.. Whaddaya think, folks?

Only question I remember that was different was "you need to install a new application as a local user, which type of script should you use?" was changed from local user to logged in user. I selected login and logoff scipt. Not sure if that's right.

Also, do you guys feel like you're diluting the value of these exams by using these dumps? IMO it's no different than when a professor hands you a study guide with a few hundred questions and says, 50 of those will be on the exam, study all of them..which is what we're doing essentially. Just curious what your opinion is.

i've used your dump from 685 in pdf and it helped me a lot but i wasnt able to edit the vce file with certexam designer because it was password protected.
this vce 686 says "stream error" when i try to open with vce designer.

any reason why?

knowing Group Policy in relation to desktop and application deployment as well as user access and security is essential. Read questions carefully before you choose an answer as some questions may be different from how they were asked in the dumps

You're right, answer is D (not C).
Not to be confused with Exam A, Q155, which is just the opposite.

Exam A, Q26 - There is a Server 2008R2 box at each branch location. Answer should be D (not C), because you should configure Branch Cache-Hosted Cache Mode on the SERVER. Answer C says to configure Distributed mode on the server, which is impossible. Distributed mode is configured on the clients within the branch office, which you wouldn't do in this scenario where you have a server there.

This was valid in the US when I took it. Scored 950+. All questions were from this dump.

Good dump. Unfortunately did not pass the test. I scored 650 points. There were many questions from the dump, but the answers were mixed in a different order. In principle, it does not matter. The exam was divided into 3 parts, the second and the third passed without problems, but the first part (5 questions) was very difficult. I guess that issues from the first part are given more points than the others, probably around 40-50 points.

Thanks Gill Beast for this dump. I took the exam yesterday in argentina and all the questions were there except for one (it was related hibernation and sleep).

In the US, this dump is partially valid. 50 questions, but I would say 25 of them were NOT in this dump. Passed, though!
