Wanted to know the final answer for . (NULL,'Dormant') does it return rows or not. When i tried it did not.but going through the replies here i am confused.what is the final verdict?
Please help.will be appearing for xam soon.

why it is the same as

and have some wrong answer and duplicate questions?
like some others that i tested so far?

david.the answer is C. in this SELECT Customer.CustomerID FROM SalesOrder , take a look to customers.customerid and not order.customerid!!!!

I don´t remeber the exact question but was something like this: The user must not acess the code of the SP.

"xyz in (NULL, 'Dormant')" depends on ansi_nulls option when it is ON then no rows will be returned
when it is OFF then NULL is like a valid value. Default valur for ansi_nulls is ON but:

MSDN says:
"This setting can be configured in ODBC data sources, in ODBC connection attributes,
or in OLE DB connection properties that are set in the application before connecting to SQL Server"

TRUNCATE TABLE . can not be used when delete cascade is present, so when table B points to table A and you try to truncate table A then you will get: "Cannot truncate table 'A' because it is being referenced by a FOREIGN KEY constraint."

Only one new question:
Database table contains 250,000,000 records, but only 1000 records with status=OPEN. Need to create index on the table to make query more effective.

@Zql960: I had to answer the two questions you mentioned and the answers in this dump are correct.

Quite good, but not perfect: There is an "obvious" error in the question asking about results from syntax "xyz in (NULL, 'Dormant')". - Actually, you will get ZERO output rows (try!!) - proper syntax could be e.g. "isnull(xyz,'_N_U_L_L_') in ('Dormant','_N_U_L_L_')". - Also from my own results (two wrong answers), I am 99% sure the suggested answer DELETE FROM . in Q about how to empty Orders table connected with cascade delete is wrong. Correct answer must be TRUNCATE TABLE . Apparently no trick Q there! - It might be tested, though.

Passed today with 1000/1000. Almost all questions were from this dump - except one new one, which was mentioned in Quinecy's dump, the answer had the word "Encryption" in it. Thanks a lot for the upload. However, I agree with RameshRaj on his comment "choices are not in order", cuz some of the questions answers were interchanged. Btw, I'm from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
