I could not tell you what questions were wrong as they do not indicate this on the test. I could tell which sections that I got questions wrong. The first section is: "Identifying cause of and resolving desktop application issues", the next is: identifying cause of and resolving networking issues", and last is: Managing and maintaining systems that run windows 7 client". I might have only got one or two questions wrong in each of these sections. I don't know if this helps but its all I could tell you.

I took this exam yesterday (6/9/12) and pass with a 860. I used this dump to study and every question came from this dump. I remember the answers to every question that was given to me in the exam which indicate that some of the answers in this dump is not correct. I reckon the drag n drop let me down as i had over 10 or 12 of them!

I took the exam today and passed with 780, I only revised this dump and nothing else, it is passable with this dump, I would say that the drag and drop questions need updating but 100% of the questions in my exam were from this dump.

My only concern with the dump is on the drag and drop questions when you show the answer there is two sets of answers given with conflicting data. One set with a red border and one set without, can you confirm which is the correct answers?

@Hammer. 55 questions to answer in total. So approx 18.2 marks each. I found almost 11 drag and drops. So be very wary abt this 11x18.2=200 marks. For sure i messed up here. 2 questions from section E which are in this dump. Found only 1 new question on chkdsk. Questions has been tweaked from Section B. Was asked to select two best options rather than 1. Confused with the WAN link question which gave the option of either to configure offline files or to configure Branch cache. Both makes sense. Also the question wherein the options were: Apply the shim to all the versionsApply the shim to only the newer version says diff answers in diffent dumps. Ill be wrting the exam next Tuesday. Will keep u posted on any other change if I come across.

There is a confusing inconsitency I was wondering if someone could clarify:
On the question for the Wan link being down, and users access files and get a login prompt but get denied access..

One VCE says To configure offline files
Another says to configure Branchcache

Branchcache is an extension of offline files, isnt it? Distributed mode Branchcache makes sense to me kind of, but offline files makes sense to me too:

I disagree that offline files are for single-user files, at least according to MS.. Anyone have any thoughts?

Dump is definitely valid, but don't trust the drag and drop questions. All other questions are valid and on the test. Memorize this dump and you will pass with flying colors, but trust your own judgment on the drag and drop questions.

Taking this test - been studying this and the Rude 200Q version that is very similar (but fixes the drag and drops is the main diff I believe?)

Been scoring 900+'s easily, almost 1000 after taking all 200 q's a few times.

Definitely some answers I know are wrong, especially some of the orders of the drag and drops. Also a few questions that say what are 3 steps (but it wants 4 answers not 3 etc)..

The problem with these questions is that some of the scenario style questions are out of sequence and not always possible to link to the correct scenario. Usually the answer is very specific to the scenario. I found test A to have a lot of questions with this problem.

no one can ensure that you will pass any exam - it is up the individual - depending on how time and effort you put into preparing for it - passing score is usually 700 - you will fail some but pass most - that should be your goal! - employer hires you based on your knowledge - what good is getting a high score if can't perform on the job.

I too took the 70-685 exam today and passed. From what I remember pretty much all of the questions from the dump were on the exam.

There were a couple questions on the real exam that were in the form of checkboxes assuming there were more than one answer compared to the practice dump where the exact question was a select the correct single answer. I think there could also be a couple incorrect answers on the dump as well but I have no proof to back that up, just a hunch judging from the score I recieved since I knew all of the answers to the questions on the dump. Regardless the dump did help a lot.

I used this practice dump and scored a 840 but you still need to know the information to pass this.

Also, to the repeated requests for "Is this exam correct?", you are asking to fail if you just try and memorize answers. Take advantage of the fact you are getting a sneak peak at the real exam questions and look up anything you don't automatically *know* the answer for.

@BH The answer is not administrative templates. That will put the map drives on there but not prevent users from disconnecting it. GP is the only way to keep them from being deleted.

It has the questions worded exactly as in this dump..and that is what they showed us in school. I guess they can still be wrong but I went with the answers I had and scored a 920..just trying to help out..

Another one was that if users are deleting mapped drives..the answer is Administrative Templates..not Group Policy..

How To Run IE in No Add-ons Mode
Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
If IE can work well without any issue.Then we can further proceed to find what is cause of IE problem:
1) Open IE in No Add-ons Mode
2) Tools -> Internet Options ->vPrograms -> Manage add-ons .
3) select a Addon and disable it.
4) Restart IE -> Open IE in normal mode.
5) If the problem is solved after step 4, than uninstall that Addon from
Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
6) If the problem is still there, than disable another addon, and follow from
step 3.

Just passed today with a 920.every question on test was on this dump.word for word.THANKS Death!!!..I did take a Training Camp course first and I did find a few wrong answers in the dump according to my material from that school.which also had alot of the questions very close to the dump.

1) The question about Wifi GPO , ensure users cannot change network location,,,the answer is WIRELESS NETWORK POLICY..not Network List Policy
2)Question about Shared folders to available to remote users if WAN link to main office is down..answer is OFFLINE FILES (for sure).not Branch Cache
3) the Question about the allowing POP UP ..answer is LOCAL INTERNET

There were a couple more but not much..got every DRAG and DROP and they were exactly like the test...will post more if I come across but this dump will do it for you if you study it..good luck to all!!

Actually, I take all that back. I read the answer as change the LMHOST entry, not *add* an LMHOST entry. D looks like the best answer to me as well.

I disagree about with the answer being D. Look at the question for clues 1) There have been no changes to dns. This is not a question to test your knowledge on ipconfig commands 2) Some computers can connect. This means means it's not a global dns issue. 3) There is no WINS server. This is the only question that specifically mentions no WINS server. When you don't have a WINS server you use LMHOST instead of a HOST file. The most logical answer why some PC's aren't connecting is that they have a LMHOST entry for pc01. Using ipconfig /registerdns will not make a difference for PC's with LMHOST entries.

@dab - please specify the exam and question. Make sure you don't have the preference set to randomize questions.

I disagree with the answer for question about name pc01.contoso.com not resolving and the solution being to add a hosts entry. My answer would be ipconfig /registerdns from pc01.contoso.com because:
1) question says dns is preferred name resolution
2) the fact that one computer can resolve correctly could be explained if that one computer was pc01.contoso.com itself

I'm still up in the air on this one so wondering if this makes sense to anyone else?
