Passes last week with a 880. Still valid in the US.

On both exams all the questions were from this dump. I had 2 case studies 4 questions each then 47 multiple choice questions. About 3 drag and drops included.

Failed the first time with a 644 due to only studying this dump which have many wrong answers, i advise to study this dump along with the Bulgarian dump that have the updated correct answers. Also read the questions carefully, there are 2 similar questions that require different answers such as the laptop battery draining.

One answer is powercfg -energy, the other is powercfg -queue all devices

Another answer that is wrong was the XP mode app install, because i do not know how you can install the app first then install Install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode.

I passed my exam on the 22nd August using this dump and studying 70-685, scored 840, I had had to rectify some of the questions and drag and drop. Cheers to all who have left constructive comments. All: Recovering from brain surgery (acoutic neuroma) since 7/2012 - not sure if they changed exam since my last update while preparing to take the exam myself - I look into reviewing the exam, reading past posts, review other exams posted by others and maybe update this exam as I prepare to take the exam.

@Geezup: Why don't you grow a pair and go study instead of hoping people to hand you the correct answers to a Qualification exam on a golden platter?

@bryan: yes u r ryt some questions are not valid and some have different order. The best thing i did is confirm all that questions from google in which i had doubt.

Some of the drag and drop questions seem to be out of order. Some of the questions have the first answer that starts at the top. And some questions have the first answer start at the bottom. Can anyone confirm this?

These dumps are so dangerous as they have the wrong answers in them , death why dont you update this exam to refelct the errors we found ? Just passed using this with an 884. On practice test 'F' question 7. This particular client does not connect to the network(beats me why), so WSUS cannot update the computer automatically. Also, the client computers are individually configured. These two statements in the question are key. My question had the user took their work home, so in other words, they connected to the network and since they are individually configured in GP win update then specify disabled would work. On this practice question, WSUS can't see this computer ever because direct access(or other means) isn't being used becasue of the "no connection to the network", so updating by other means is needed. Thoughts?

I just took the exam and passed with a 930/1000. 55 questions/3+hr exam. This dump is still very valid, 90+%. Not all answers to the questions are correct, so do your due diligence. Keep in mind that there is always more than one test for an exam, which could explain why some might get a test that is close to a dump. Lastly, never rely solely on one dump. As the saying goes..live by a dump, die by a dump. Special thanks Death BU and for all the posts. They helped.

the resources monitor seems to be the right answer, but notice that you need to identify the application that consumes the most processor resources, from YOUR computer, it means to connect to that computer remotely, so how does resources monitor do that, can it connect to another computer remotely? i think the only tool that can connect remotely is performance monitor, and than comes another question, how does performance monitor identify specific application?

Some answer IMHO could be wrong.

Just took these test. This dump is 100% Valid. I passed with 900/1000. I took the test with Prometric. The test had 55 questions including 2 testlets with 4 questions each. I cannot think of a question that was NOT on this dump.

my question is. Does a shim need to be edited to run on every version of an application or can it be edited to run with ALL versions of an application?

Both answers go with C, but the second answers are different: either D or E.
The user's computer has not been joined to a domain. That doesn't matter, since the answers only specify the Local Group Policy Editor. But, why specify an intranet location? I don't think the user's got a server at home. I think the answer should be E: Disabled.

I have a question about the Drag N Drop question related to XP Mode.

The answer following the exam is as follow:

I manually edited the .vce and added the situation above the question. I personally learn by using the randomize questions option.

Viktor- thank you. That might be where the confusion is. As the questions come up in random order, it's hard to tie them back to the one question with all the info listed. I'll try printing out the questions with all the info listed and using the printout when I get the follow up questions.

It seems MS have changed the exam again - most of the Q's in the dump are still valid, as are the Drag & Drop, Hot-Spots and Scenario Q's - but there is a new style of "Simulation" style Q's whereby you have to click on Menus in simulated Applications (like various MMC's and Windows Settings) to choose the right answer. just a FYI..

The question you are refering to is Exam B Question 8 - if you look at the top of Exam B Question 1 it states "Exam B Questions 1-5, 6, 7, 9 Topic 12, Tailspin Toys" - the scenario covered the following questions - probably Death_BU should have added the header to each question in the related scenario.

TT from Netherlands- you can't answer the question from the info provided. There's supposed to be an exhibit or chart which shows the types of computers in use at each site and the answer is whichever sites have Win 7 Ultimate or Enterprise as only those editions support Bitlocker to Go. And the question specifies Bit Locker to Go, not BitLocker.

A lot of the questions in this dump don't provide all the exhibits or info needed to actually answer the questions. Maybe the answers provided are correct and if all you're trying to do is memorize the answer, you're ok. But if you want to figure out the answers, many questions don't include all the info that's needed.

BUT, I do appreciate the work that has been done to create this dump and other dumps. I am not complaining that the dump isn't good. Just saying that many questions are missing the necessary info to figure out the answers for yourself.

The intent of this exam was to make a comparison between selftestengine and STE - any duplicate questions between the two exams were eliminated - any questions with different answers or worded differently were included - it's not about which answers is correct or wrong - it's about what you may see when you take the actual exam and decide what you think is correct answer and adding your comments here as to which maybe correct choice(s)!
