The trackpad question is driving me nuts also. My first intuition was that the trackpad would be a valid answer as a last-resort option if the other two answers did not fix the mouse issue. Anyone know what the correct answer is to this question?

Nonsense, every touchpad i have ever seen is installed as a USB_HID device. It is a separate device and therefore will not interfere with other USB_HID devices such as an external mouse.

Also there is no such thing as an "only pointing device". Pointing devices are USB attached devices who are installed seperately. you might be referring to external touchpad software having this option but it is safe to assume Microsoft exams do not cover options provided by 3rd parties such as Synaptics.

My 70-685 exam is scheduled for Friday. I've been studying with CBTNuggets and a few different dumps. Fingers crossed that the test isn't changed from Mar 27th, which was the last US valid dump refernece.

That's the reason why. If you use VCE Mobile Lite, you are limited concerning the amount of questions (e.g. only 15 questions per exam in the Android version) and can only use Multiple Choice questions. Think about it, there are round about 30 Select & Place and Hot Area questions in the pool.

There could be a driver conflict, and the trackpad could also be configured as the only installed pointing device. Therefore if its disabled on reboot the usb device should be picked up and installed automaticly.

The dump only shows me 153 questions total, but I see there are supposed to be 191? I am using VCE Lite. Thanks..

I've been teaching IT for a few years; I've had students pass with full marks. My students are using Microsoft training kit by Tony Northrup (endorsed by Microsoft) and CBT Nuggets (also endorsed by Microsoft) for the 70-685 exam. We also use TestKing and Braindumps for practical teaching that Microsoft recommend. I'm using Gills exam as a final assessment before students sit their exam. Microsoft has a policy that any company's they endorse sign a disclosure policy that they won't post or include actual exam questions BUT can ask different worded questions pointing to the actual question. Microsoft does have the tendency to change exam format from a static to a progressive exam and add more questions to the pool even at times reword the questions and add a double bluff.

Advice for anyone taking the exam this dump wont point you in the wrong direction but you will need to put the work in and research every question!

Sorry, I can't locate the questions by the numbers you indicated. There is no range 'out of 85'.
Every question in the dump is defined by its exam and a corresponding number, e.g. Tailspin Toys Q3 or Mixed Questions Q122.
Please use those to refer to.

Q 34 of 85. The correct answer is B. BranchCache - yes? Also, Q 70 of 85. I know C. is right, but should A. aslo be right? Don't you want the flush the DNS cache so the PCs don't use the bad IP in the DNS cache?
P.S. anyone taken this test in the last couple days? Still Valid?

FYI folks,

I JUST found out the day after I passed my exam that not only does Microsoft consider using brain dumps to be cheating, but it's also a crime, and you can get banned from Microsoft tests and have your certs revoked if they find out you've been using them. They also now have software that can analyze your test and detect if you've been using brain dumps.

So anyone who has a problem with cheating and doesn't want to risk being banned from Microsoft. I'd suggest you don't use these dumps anymore.

I provided the exams with names, but somebody started to use letters to reference them and by answering the questions I unfortunately followed that variation.

Forgive me, but can you please explain what all this "Exam D", "Exam N" stuff means? When I fire up the exam, the options only break down the questions by Case Scenario and by Section/Domain. How do we know what exam is 'D', or 'N', etc.?

I am just now starting to look at this exam, as it's the next one I have to take. I have to say. if there are really as many questions in their test bank about hosts file, it's pretty ridiculous. Everything I've ever read indicates that hosts files are an antiquated resource that is rarely used anymore, especially in Enterprise environments. Any comments on that, Gill?

I was referring to Topic 12, Tailspin Toys, Q 6 of 8.It is asking which sites are candidates for Bitlocker. The dumps says only B correct (HQ), but I think A should be added (Sales), because Vista can handle BitLocker and that the PCs in this group are able to boot from USB which could contain the encryption keys for BitLocker.

Totally valid in UK - passed today - all questions were from this, maybe some in slightly different order where 'choose all that apply'

I'm wondering about your answer for Exam N Q30. You have chosen to D. In my view that that would solve the fragmentation issues and thus improve performance, however the question states that the 3D App extensively uses the RAM. The use of the swap files are a byproduct of the RAM overflow. So why is the correct answer not B?

Getting a certificate might get you an interview but never gets you a job. So if you have no experience in a relevant IT field, stop wasting your time and money by memorizing and passing exams. The real exam is when your client or employer asks you questions. Purpose of this site is helping you pass not cheating on exam. Any exam can be challenging even for an experienced IT Pro because as I said real life issues are different from multiple choice tests!!! All my question came from this dump and I even had questions corrected by Mr wrong so I decided to go with your answers (and Mr wrong) I knew I can pass but never guessed scoring 1000. wording was slightly different in one question.

In exam N the questions Q62 - 71 have the following instruction:
"More than one answer choice may achieve the goal. Select the best answer."
So only one answer is allowed.
I wrongly set the answer type to Multiple Select. But as I meanwhile know from the exam, it's a Single Select question type.
(For the next update to this dump, I'm going to reset the answer type from Multiple Select to Single Select.)

Concerning Qs N67 and N69 I stick to my answers.

Question N67: Supposing that several users have started several applications on this computer, the simplest way to free memory is to log off all that users thus ending their applications to. (Answer B).

Question N69: It is only intended to allow Pop-up windows for the external fabrikam.com site, not generally. So the easiest way to do that, is to add fabricam.com to the Trusted Sites zone, since Trusted Sites and Local Intranet zones do not have their pop-up windows blocked by default, as they are considered safe (Answer B).

No, the answer is right!!
To avoid the loss of data because of missing key informations (such happened in this case), recovery information for BitLocker-protected drives can be backed up to Active Directory Domain Services.
