Hi HK, I read Lorraine and Carol. They all have same question but different answer. Carol gave few more reasonable answer in some of the questions but both dumps are not perfect. You should get a pass with Lorraine if you are careful with the answer.

However, For @61 I would still regard attaching a task to event viewer as a correct answer.Because SCOM can only generate alerts but cannot restart the system automatically.

@mohit - Sorry to say but I think you got Q61 wrong too ;) Typically with MS exams they're pushing you towards their products and this one should be "use SCOM".

Creating a task on the alert would kinda work but you'd have to create a script to restart the service.

I'm pretty sure creating an alert is the right answer here

@mohit - pretty certain you were wrong on the VM network adapter. That would affect the VM only and you'd have to do it for each one

QOS can be configured at the virtual switch level

@TR - Hmm. That has some glaring contradictions to this dump. The one that really stands out is Q20. I've alwyas thought this dump is wrong on that one. It clearly states that the SAN only supports FC so why you'd create an iSCSI Target server I don't know

It has explanations that this dump lacks. Unfortunately not all questions have explanations, and for this question, which is question 56 on scribd does not have a great explanation. It says the answer is DFS, and only gives this vague explanation which does not speak directly to the case study, unfortunately still no solid answer, but I would lean towards DFS since 3/4 of the sites/dumps I have found say the answer is DFS. Annoyingly vague question.

1. In Exam A, in YES/NO questions, there is no file share SMB question, but instead there is scaleout file share DFS and another question is only file share DFS.

2. In the enterprise root certificate server1.contoso.com question, there are multiple options to choose, not just one option.

-third-party certificate with server1.contoso.com
-third-party certificate with server1
-self-signed certificate with server1.contoso.com
-enterprise CA with server1.contoso.com

not sure qhich ones are correct.

@TR: I think it should be BranchCache in Distributed Mode. They want to minimise hardware costs so that rules out Hosted Mode as the branch offices don't have a 2008 R2 server. This, for me, also rules out DFS

Can anyone provide an explanation or reference for the question in Exam A which states "You need to recommend a solution that resolves the current file server issue"? From my studying, I cannot find that there is enough information in the case study to definitively say if the BEST answer is DFS or BranchCache (Obviously its not "A Storage Pool"). If anyone can provide an explanation, quote the relevant lines from the case study, and references to confirm which answer is correct, I would GREATLY appreciate that. Thank You.
