OK, passed with a score of 807, so ulesns I'm one calculating SOB you know I didn't use a braindump ;)I used the Cisco Press CCIE R&S Cert Guide (4th Ed) as my primary study tool. I read it cover to cover, then used the memory tables for revision and then used the Boson pratice exams on the companion CD. As mentioned by Dayne the Boson exams are a great prep tool. They are written in a very Cisco-esque fashion and I found them much harder than the actual exam so, in my opinion, if you're passing these then you're ready for the real thing (to give you an idea, I was only scoring around 60 on the Boson exams).

Exam format of 70-642 changed. Passed today with 880 with the help of my practical work exp & pls study the book well. There are 21 new ques & total Ques 67. Most of the new ques are based on drag on drop, rearranging, graphical selection of answers.like -
1) U r given 2 subnet connected with router u have to assign two IP to both interfaces.
2) U have backed up a windows server using windows backup now u have to test it by restoring. there are 10 graphical images - safe mode/safe mode with net/ directory service mode/ normal restart ..u have to select one
3) 5 ques in a row have same 10 options with different ques - options were all roles or services and u have to select one - for example to configure vpn which role u will install from 10 options-
4) A graphical image of ipsec mode section is given with tree view main & quick mode 8 options - u have to select one to show the authentication statistics
5) There r 3 DC. u want to replicate encrypted zone between two. what will u do? from 6 option u have to drag 3. options were -create secondary zone/primary zone/ modify replication scope/ modify zone transfer settings .
6) 10 images of administrative tools's shortcut. to configure file share which shortcut will u click?
7) A table is given with 2 app.exe with 4 ports and inbound/outbound specifications. How many rules u have to create from the table?

can you check it ?. on the disk management select disk and click right and slect 'Properties' and you will see some tabs then select 'Quota' there is button there named 'Quoto Entries' click it.it will open a new windows and click Quota and then 'New Quoto Entry' and you can chose which user want to give a new quoto entry.
