I believe option A requires you to create a GlobalNames zone & you know this replaces WINS which are not required. Moreover, it has two steps to do while B has only one step & can do the work. Plus when you add a server it should register itself Host (A) record in the DNS automatically.

I'm also not sure of my answer but just discussing to get the correct answer.

For a customer with many domains, managing a suffix search list for all clients can be cumbersome, and client query performance is also somewhat lowered when querying a single-label name with the list of domains. For environments that require both many domains and single-label name resolution of corporate server resources, GNZ provides a more scalable solution.

So the answer is create a globalnames zone. Reason: microsoft recoments it on large multi domain sites.

The answer makes a comment of whether or not answer B would also be correct. The answer is NO. Because an Alias (CNAME) might work, BUT, it should depend on a host (A) record, otherwise, if the IP for the server Web1 changes, the Alias would fail. So you need a host (A) record in the first place and this is not mentioned anywhere in the question's setup, minimum effort would be answer A only.

DNS server named server 1 WIN08R2, you need to ensure that client computers can resolve IPv6 to FQDNs. Which record should be created? Answer is PTR but why not AAAA?
