In Fabrikam Question 3 the answer should be C: (Install 2k8 R2 VM on the Hyper-v Server and promote it as a RODC)

that is because:
RODC uses minimal amount of replication

To Reduce software cost Microsoft Grant you the ability to install 4 2k8 VM on the hyper-v without the need to purchase a license of each just buy one 2k8 R2 Enterprise

Hi Guys, I wote this exam on Friday and I think I had old exam and that was changed and I fail this exam because this exam has testlet questions. but I had 22 queastion same from (Microsoft.Braindump.70-646.v2010-12-20.by.Willie.75q.vce.vce) this dum. I'm very new to this site someone gave me these questions.
I have two question for you guys 1, when this exam was changed and 2nd which is current exam dump now, I'm palning to write the exam again.

So Why not the answer be (B) Enable the Try Next Closest Site group policy setting ?

But the Testlet Did not specify that the domain controllers in Washington office is windows 2008 or 2008 R2 , so The Anwer might be right to C: Set the link cost to = 1

No - a standard forest trust is transitive, which clearly violates one of the planned changes (read the planned changes very carefully). The trust established *has* to be a non-transitive type between two domains in different forest - which is an external trust.

@nambu . I am objecting your answer forest trust for q no 7 northwind traders.

The correct answer seems me is external trust.the reasons are in the exibit they mention two things .one.there doesnot exist any forest trust relationships between the forest. and two .the forest trust is by default is transitive in nature and if this exist btw these domains,the east.northwind.com can access the resource in contoso.com,which is not our requirement.

normally microsoft exams will be in the right order as dumps.other wise it is really difficult for those who really learn dumps and come for exam

External Trust: To create trust between an Active Directory domain and a down-level Windows NT 4 domain. Or when forest trust cannot be created between the two domains.

Forest Trust: Is created between two root domains of two forests. Which is the case here because we are trying to create a trust between Northwindtraders.com (A root Domain) to Contoso.com (another root domain).

You're wrong. A shortcut trust is for connecting two domains within the *same forest*. Here we're trying to connect domains from different forests.

So the correct answer is an External Trust.

I think the answer should be C - Install a VM RODC.

One of the technical requirements says "minimize and control the amount of Active Directory replication between offices"

An RODC will acomplish both of those goals.

Guys - Just got out of the test in USA. It is a hard test. I got 19 questions and 5 testlets. I passed with a ~750 score. There are errors in the test-let questions. I had them memorized. I passed but go back through and figure out the answers as there are definitely wrong ones!

The exam was (1) test-let then 19q and then the other 4 test-lets. You can no go back and forth between the test-lets. The overviews, are valid. The answers are a bit off.

The Business goals clearly state "Minimize WAN utilization" - and Branchcache was designed to do that.

DFS would create a burden on the WAN.

So I think the correct answer should be A and not B.

Woodgrove Q5:

I *don't* think the answer is C - Cross Certification.

Cross certification enables trust of another CA's issued certificates. It does not allow the cross-forest enrollment/issue of certificates.

The most logical answer is D - External Trust
(creating a trust with a domain in a different forest)

Answer A (DirectAccess) would only work if there was a 2008 DC & DNS Server available. The only 2008 servers are file servers. So, it cannot be DirectAccess (see: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd637797%28WS.10%29.aspx).

The existing SCCM server can push updates to clients when users are not logged in - so you can remove that technical requirement.

The other requirement (access to file servers) is fullfilled with RD Gateway.

So the answer is D.

Fabrikam is tough and some questions did not make sense. Humongous information in this vce helped and were accurate. I cant remember which one, but one of the testlets had a question or two that were not in this dump. I went out and drank a lot after the test to celebrate my MCITP. As another poster has said, as long as you study the real material well and read over this dump you will be fine. If you are just reading the dump and do not understand the material you should not be taking these tests.

Forgive me ignorance, but what exactly is a testlet ? Is it just a scenario which they ask you multiple questions about, or are they actually asking you to complete tasks (like a sim) ?
