This dump is good. Passed today with a 983. 40 out of the 70 questions were in this dump.

OK here's the deail, read the 70-642 book from cover to cover, and did all the exercises and practice labs to make sure it sunk in. Finally had a look at this dump a couple of days before the exam and passed with a score of 950, probably 70% of questions in this dump, the rest are new and quite hard but if you've done the studying then you can have a good educated guess at the answers. Dont just try and learn the questions learn the course, my job depends on it running my own busines....

To people who are asking the new file. They can do it alone. Open the file with Visual Cert Designer and remove just all the duplicate questions, and corect by reading users messages about answers.

So it has a sense. I think someone who is using this feature in "wild" should say something.

Gologan, Q182: The question asks for "Current CPU, network, disk, and memory utilization", and I believe the answer in the dump, "perfmon.exe /report" is correct.

I ran that command, and it gives utilization information on Disk IO, Network and CPU load, and memory usage. I believe that is what the question is asking for. Msinfo32.exe gives you memory and storage space information, but not current utilization statistics.

Tricky question, but after running the command, I believe the perfmon.exe answer is still correct.

@Isaac: All the answers look good to me, I've only noticed the one discrepancy so far. I'll post wrong/correct answers when I find them.
@Tekk2k: You don't have to memorize ALL of them.. many of the questions are similar, so if you can understand the basic concept you can easily answer the questions you aren't as familiar with.

As I go through the dump, I write down tools/concepts that I don't fully understand (like dnscmd) and google them for more info. When I took 70-640, I used a dump that was outdated, and I still passed by using this method. I had just enough understanding of the tools to answer the questions correctly given the context provided in the exam.

Hey, do you guys actually memorize all 267 questions in the dump? Because that seems like a pretty large task. Scheduled to take the exam on Dec 10th.

Alright. here's the validity status for your country:
Kuwait and Egypt: Valid every day except Thursdays and Sundays
Poland, Russia, and Tonga: Valid during leap years, and only then if you don't have the flu
South Africa: Valid if no one was eaten by a Great White in the last month
USA and and US Virgin Islands: Valid only if it's not raining (sorry, Los Angeles, you're SOL)
Afghanistan and Syria: Pot luck
Everywhere else: Who knows.. either read the material or bring a coin to flip to the test..

Isn't there anybody who can narrow this file down to the right amount of questions for the exam to take?

@kenobi There are 70 questions total. At no point does it say that the final 20 were beta. I'm just making that assumption since I know I missed most of the final 20 questions but still managed to score very high. Sometimes they choose to either not score questions or lower their weight.

I think I found a wrong answer. Question is:
"Your company has a single AD domain. All servers run Win2k8 R2. You install an additional DNS server that runs Win2k8 R2. You need to delete the pointer record for the IP address 10.3.2.127."

The answer should be "Run the dnscmd /RecordDelete 127.2.3.10.in-addr.arpa PTR command at the command prompt".

The wrong answer says "10.in-addr.arpa 127.2.3 PTR".

A pointer record lists the IP address backwards, with in-addr.arpa appended to the end, so the record should be 127.2.3.10.in-addr.arpa. I understand why that is, but I can't explain it well, so google it if you want the details.

Scored over 850 this morning in US. 50 or so questions identical to this dump. Of the remaining 20 questions, many appear to be beta 'cause there's no way in hell I would have made the score I did if they were all scored.
