Took and passed exam today with 746/1000. There are 50 questions in my exam and most of them are in this dump. In order to pass, you have to study very hard. Don't just memorize the answer but try to understand the question and the answer itself. Most of the question are the same but the answer are in different order. There's a lot of wrong answer in this dump but you will surely pass if you really study together with your other materials. There are 2 to 4 new question in my exam. 80% valid in the Philippines. I believe the question at (4u2env from Canada ) was for ADprep/ForestPrep to give you the 3 choices for credentials. I only see one credential for ADprep/DomainPrep, from the link I provide.

i think the other answer is enterprise admin.but what about the other 9 new questions????

I failed second time with score of 662 and I did study this very hard still don't know what went wrong in the exam but the only thing I'm not sure someone can help I did end up getting same duplication question twice is that a normal in MS exams.

II failed this test, took the score to 643, but the report that this is good vce.

I failed yet again 648. I know there were several questions i answered correctly from this dump, im' starting to wonder the validity of this. I've been studying this for months and continue getting the same score level. Tons of questions from the dump but i'm curious if the answers are correct.

Dump is still valid in Poland. Pass today with 838. A couple of new questions. Sometimes the same questions but answers in another order. In this dump is a few questions with bad answers so you have studied it carefully and you will pass. Good luck !!!

I was getting full marks most of the time in the practice exams. That is only because I had to wait a bit longer for my exam to come up and was a bit over prepared. I got questions that I was extremely comfortable with so think I was lucky with the set of questions I got. There were some Questions that I was not so comfortable with in the Practice exams but did not get them in the actual exam. Make sure you are happy with all the questions and mark the ones you are not happy with. Concentrate on the ones you are not happy with but don't neglect the easier ones either.

I took the 70-648 exam today. I passed with a score of 900. There are 64 Questions. 32 from the 70-640 and 32 from the 70-642. I only came across 1 Question that I had not seen before. It was looking for the Port No for LDAP. I got a lot of Questions with more that 4 options. Usually Options A-M. I got Questions on the Port No.

passed today with 723. 100% valid

I took the exam this last Monday and scored 682 -- I went back through the dumps (yes all of them right after the test) and I found that I put the wrong answer for 5 questions that were from the dump. The other questions except 2 maybe 3 were new questions I never saw. So that means there were 9-10 questions that have the wrong answers in this dump. I studied for 3 weeks and was getting 95+% on each dump. I didn't memorize the questions either. Read each question fully. With that I would have passed with the 5 i answered wrong but still would have been roughly 780 as the highest I could have got. The dump is 70% valid IMO. Just make sure you know every single question and you should at least get 700 but no more than 800 if you are just going off this dump. Again since there are so many questions in the pool its luck of the draw IMO. Good luck.

Dont just memorize the answers. I took the test last Wednesday and I almost passed with an 681. There are many new questions not sure how many thought. I studied Testinexam.70-640.v2013-03-07.by.dw.469q.vce and failed horribly.

Myself as well as ~5 friends have been using this and been scoring between 900-1000 on the practice exams. All have failed the actual test (some twice) with scores between 640-680. Based on the comments below it looks like the answers are valid but we aren't having much luck here. Trying again in two weeks..

C will list only the portion of COMPUTER of a policy and should be run on the target computer(there's no /s parameter!!)

The questions with the same set of answers are marked as a group, you get one wrong from the group and they mark you down for the whole group.

I took the 70-640 exam today finally, and every question except maybe 3 or 4 were in the dump. Word for word, I looked for any subtle differences, but they were verbatim.

I studied this dump over and over, and could pass 1000 every time. So when I was presented with the same exact questions, and putting the dumps answer, I was amazed that I received a 792 at the end. There may have been 5 that I was iffy on, but the rest I would say I answered exactly like in the dump.

So, 50 questions, 20 points a pop, 5 iffy, that's 100 points off 1000 = 900. I dunno what else I got marked wrong to drop it 200 points down to my 792 score.

The dump is definitely valid for questions asked, but some of the answers seem to be interpreted differently by Microsoft.

United States - Studied this dump day and night for over a month. I had most of the questions and answers memorized. Took the test, 90% of the questions were word for word yet I still failed. Hello people. I know we're all focussed on passing the exam but I thought I'd throw in a little real-life scenario to get you applying what you've studied:
I have about 5 virtual servers running 2K8 R2 Eval., the trial period of which runs out in the next few days. On these I have 2 DCs with DNS, an Exchange box that is doubling as an AD CS, a member server running as my Root CA. Now, I need to somehow migrate all these installs/configs onto new virtual machines I plan to install tonight. Any ideas? I think my options vary from installing a new DC and replicating and seizing/transferring FSMOs, to system state backups for member servers or even IFM..All these installs are just a lab to help me get hands-on while studying so I have scope to mess up without any repercussions. The Answer Should be A, you will use AD site and Services to replicate changes to servers in different sites.

Dnlint is for diagnostics but not to replicate changes. Nslookup is to find records and query service via DNS.

NTDSutil is to manage AD partitions, but still not for replication process among sites

original dcpromo is correct. The question isnt about forcing replication but about getting another server to send the active directory partition to. You only want to send it to dc2 not all the other servers. Have a look at the technet reference in the question answers.

Hello Guys. I am not well versed in Active Directory Partitionbut i found that the answer to Exam K Q37 which is Dcpromo is wrong.The correct answer suppose to to A- Active Directory Sites And Services. PLease comment if anyone has a view on it. I was just reading up on it and found it.

Hi Al.

From going over the Questions on both Exams I have only came across about 3 or 4 FSMO Questions not including the ones at the end of the 70-642 exam which give more than the 4 options. Usually Options A-M. The FSMO Questions are not that hard. You just need to know which one's are Forest wide and which are not. If you do a search on Google for things you are not sure about I find that you will get a good explanation. I tend to copy these explanations and paste them into a word doc that I can refer to later if needed. I will let you know how the Exam goes for me. I still have about 10 days of studying before I take the Exam

Thanks for the advice, i'm hoping to get the exam boxed off by the end of April so i have studied cbt nuggets and these exams seems like a lot to take in doing the 70-648, and i agreet 640 is hardest needing to know the fsmo roles along with replication/dns.

I just basically took my time to study both Exam's and understand them. I have watched Video's also. There is some questions that I am weak at so I take note of them. Then I go back to them Questions and try to understand the Reasons why such answers are correct over other ones. I find that I can rule out some of the options straight away as they are not realistic options. Make sure you read the questions carefully as one word can totally change rule out a lot straight away. They may be looking for an option that "requires the least administrative effort" which I find can help a lot when choosing an answer. Get familiar with one of the Exam's before moving onto the next one. I went with the toughest one first which I found was the 70-640. Good luck with your study

this is still valid in Australia, just did the 70-648 got an 812 on the 70-640 side, 32 questions, pretty much all in this dump those that weren't i didn't notice because they were similar anyway, alot around certificates as others have advised simply remembering the answers won't help you, you need to understand the answers, because some questions aren't 100% the same but similar if you understand the answers you'll be fine, tough exam but worth it

@James - Go on study 70-640,70-642,70-646 ,even after 31 July ,you will find exams .Write them and get your MCSA. -See here http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/retired-certification-exams.aspx#fbid=NUcNA7zR79d .Click on Windows server- you will see that the exams that will not be available is 70-643 & 70-647 (which you are not doing). In terms of Venomous dump ,it is by far the best ,so give yourself time to study all ,till you sing the answers- because the focus on the exam will change- and this is guaranteed. You will pass. In my experience ,i used Don Poulton's book + Testout +Practical on the lab server -then went to the dumps -they just become so easy and i quickly go through them -'cos i know the stuff

You should study all the questions in the dump and then after studying all of them you can focus on the tests from H-L. Almost 70% came from these tests.
But I can't guarantee. They might change the scope of the questions
After all You should study the questions answer . Don't just memorize all the answers try to understand and READ the questions carefully !!

For correction in the last post - I meant last year ,the exam is 70-290 ,not 70-20 as stated

@James- Yes James it is true -You can go and study the 70-640,70-642,70-646 and pass the exams- The certification you will get is MCSA not MCITP. What has retired is the Certification ,not your exams. To put it differently after 31 July you will find the said exams at prometric /pearson/vue centres,you can take them and you will get MCSA . It is like the old MCSE -it retired some years ago ,but i noted last year ,you were able to take the 70-20 (Configuring server 2003).See here http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/mcitp-certification.aspx#fbid=NUcNA7zR79d.What retires as theyb say is the Certification ,not Exams. I have been reading some MS forum's, after 31th of july, the MCITP-SA certification retires. After that date, you will become MCSA 2008. And it is still able to upgrade to 2012 after date.

I don't know about that, Ralf. I was under the impression after July 31st, you'll still take these tests to get the MCSA 2008. At which point you can take the 70-417 to upgrade to MCSA 2012.

And it is also not possible to upgrade to 2012 if you get certified after 31th of July

I didn't find any noticeable changes. Just few tweaks here and there. One Question that I found new was:

How to force user to use Public Profile from firewall when connected to public network. (something like that)

Then you have picture of Security Group Policy and you have to select particular container that contain the policy for that.

@James - Yes, the individual certs (namely, 70-640, 642 & 646) will continue to be active. What changed, however, is the *overall* cert, the MCITP, is being retired. The collective cert for those three is now the MCSA.

Ok. Need some info..I've been reading allot of posts on the expiration of 70-640 as of July 13. Does this entail that I can no longer take the exam? Can someone elaborate on this? I just bought the study material, should I still pursue the Server Track? Thx

Actually the overall cert MCITP is being retired, now the individual exams themselves. The three certs that made up that are now re-shuffled into an 'MCSA,' or Associate level.

They retire in July, even so. Good luck :)

Just did the exam (624), hadn't used any dumps. I thought I was pretty set and it was going so well until qns 40-50 which were all on which snap-ins to use for certs..ADCS was my weak point..I would say based on my rough tallying while in the exam, bulk of qns are on DNS/RODC/ADCS..be sure to study these chapters!!
My question now is, are all of you guys opening these files using Visual Cert, or is there some other way to view them/convert to pdf?

Just use the dumps as a study guide as it helps u understand the nature of questions to expect...goodluck!!!

I just passed, 815; about 10 questions were similar to the ones on the dump and the rest, almost exactly worded or equal. The dump is an excellent guide to study, not for memorizing, everyone depending only on his/her memory is gambling. If anyone can recommend a good dump for 70-646, please, say it. Passed yesterday in UK with 815 point. Dump is ok. If you good learn Venomous dump you have no chanse to fail the exam. I had 50 questions and 5-6 new. Only two questions were with drag and drop. Thanks a lot Venomous for your great job.
