Pass Your Microsoft 70-648 Exam Easy!

I've taken and failed this exam. This dump doesnt contain a load of port related settings, including encrypted ldap port numbers etc

N00B did you get any port number questions like for dns or dhcp?

passed today, 906.

It was two exams in one, 57 questions, 27 questions about 70-640, 30 questions about 70-642.

Don't use this dump or any specifics of 648.. use the big ones of the 640 and 642.

Some of the questions:
- 5 about lds and partition aplications.
- you have to prevent establishing comunication with the port TCP 25.
- multiple choice (select 3) about certificates (restrict, basic efs, remove other templates).
- offline defragmentation of ad database.
- replication errors to a central location. (configure event log subscription)
- you have 100 servers.. wecutil cs subscrition.xml
- 2 questions with subnetting knowledge. one with ipv6 without communication with clients (neither gateway), other about one ip with one subnet and one getaway without communication (change the netmask to /24).

Many questions have just wrong answers, especially noticed that in questions over Q440 (easily found 4 wrong answers, verified from aiotestking site). I wont recommend this.

Does anyone know if Directaccess is a subject in this exam? i dont thin dns will be on it other than ports

Actually Virtual, you need 70-648 AND 70-646 to be upgraded from 2003 to 2008.

I done the exam today and passed. I got a score of 900 and only came across 1 Question I did not recognize. It is totally a matter of preference whether to do the 2 exams individually or as the combined 70-648. There is alot of Questions to cover for the 70-648 but you only have to do and pay for one exam rather than having to do both. I was told by doing the 70-648 as well as the 70-646 that I would get an MCITP and MCSA 2008 Qualification but if I done it over 3 exams 640, 642 & 646 that I would only get the MCSA 2008 Qualification. I could be wrong on that. Whatever you decide I hope it goes well for you.

I was just wondering is there extra questions in this dump that were not included in the Venomous 469 Dump. If so can you list the Numbers for these extra Questions as I am attempting the 70-648 Exam on Thursday.

I see a lot of question about the use of Wbadmin.exe or the GUI for backup/restore.
I think that systemstate restore is present in the GUI since 2008R2 (not 2008)
so why all dumps always answer to use wbadmin.exe?

Btw to upgrade mcsa from 2003 to 2008. You need to pass two exams 70-648 + 70-646

You should be prepaird for alot of questuens about ADCS
prerequesite per technology is also important. You should know them for this exam
I wil try to upgrade to MCSA 2012. The dumps are very recent

I didn't have DNS qs either, instead, several of NTDSUtil, DSAmain and mounting instances.
Wahé, congrats on your pass, we may have had the same exam same day, lots of ADCS and at the begining, which made nervous. :)

I repeat and concur, this DUMP not enugh.

Passed 648 today.
Studieing this dump is not enogh.
You should have good noladge about the new technogies of window 2008 en the prerequesite per technology.
2 questions2 ADRMS
2 questions ADFS
A lot of questions ADCS
3 or 4 questions about DHCP (reservation en IP6 ping cheks)
2 or 3 questions NAT en Remote access.
2 or 3 questions WSUS
2 or 3 questions about AD recovery (drag and drop)
4 or 5 questions about (subscriptions, AD replication monitoring)
2 or 3 questions Command lijn event viewer tool.
No questions over DNS.

Just passed 648 today,

There were 64qs (32 each part), I scored 887 on 640, and 833 on 642, btw, don't use this dump, there are a lot of wrong answers, and that made me waste precious time.

Just use Venomous2 for 640 and Rafaqat for 642 (they're mostly correct)

From what I remember:
-A DHCP that runs out of IPs, a 98% with 2 IPs remaining, o a /24 subnet, I believe the answer was 'enlarge the scope' or st..h like that
-Asking for SSL ports on LDAP andPOP3-;
-Know DHCP ports too, configure firewall, etc.
-Lots of qs from CAs, VPNs and policy servers. very confusing ones..
-Most of the qs where single choice, chosing from 10-12 posible answ
-Only 2-3 drag&drops, were easy ones
-Configure wsus clients to get up updates from internet, repor to WSUS, -> GPO or Config Srv1?
- One ab testing IPv6: Pinging link-local-address or site-local-address?

- Exam is 32x2 parts, mines was170min in total

Not as hard as they pictured it, but don't use this dump, user Venomous2 for 640, and Rafagat for 642.

.now I believe a need 646 to become MCITP, didn't count on that. :(

Just passed few tips (YOU WILL PASS):
you can study the 640 & 642 (LOTS OF QUESTIONS) and you will pass or just 491 (MAKE SURE YOU KNOW IT)
NO DNS QUESTIONS as per other posts - confirmed
Also few CA questions
Know ports + UDP or TCP for:
LDP/AD
Server
POP3
SSL POP3
imAP
DNS
DHCP
