Is this still valid?

I will use this as a resource to study before the test since I've already taken these classes at the college. But I have another question someone may be able to answer on some other study guides I have.

I have a PDF of ACTUAL-TESTS 70-649 Practice Test version 10 with 585 questions, and also an ACTUAL-TESTS PDF with out a version number but updated on Oct 19, 2009 but it only has 363 questions. Anyone have experience with these? I assume version 10 with 585 questions is most recent? Anyone have any info on these please? Hopefully they are with the R2 updates. TY!

I would recommend going through CBT nuggets before even looking at this dump. Understand IIS / remote desktop back to front. If you only have desktop support experience and only 1 month server experience (like me). This is a really tough exam! But these dumps will get you through

mainly correct in this dump - as the missing points in part B was my fault, well and in C there was a new question. I don't know if that was the cause for the missing scores in C.

took the test on May 17 2013 and passed with 925. as other people would say, there ARE couple of wrong answers among the questions but almost every single question in the real exam was covered in this file. Warning : i passed this exam today, my exam was 48 Q in three part 9+19+20, like everyone said, 640, 642, 643. This is the old version with the questions before R2 and 7 released.

Approximatively 40% of the questions were from this dump and the rest are totally a new questions, the part three 70-643 is more difficult (a lot of IIS ?!).

This dump is pretty good, but not perfect. I passed yesterday with a 900 overall. I know Server 2008 really well and a number of the questions in this dump have incorrect answers. If you know the product, use this dump and you will be fine.

Correct Answer is E ( Internet information service) becuase in Window server 2008 R2, we use IIS manager to manage ftp settings.

IIS 6.0 is used in older versions of windows server 2008

In case you guys did not know this exam will NOT expire next month but Januari 31th 2014 (microsoft changed this about a week ago)

The exam is spilt into 3 small parts, 2 of 25 questions and one of 21 questions so I had 71 questions. I noticed a lot of the dumps answers were in different order to the actual exam and there seemed a lot of new questions as well as I didn't recognise the answers they were given

This dump is 100% valid, I had only 1 new question that is not in this dump for 70-642. But make sure to study more than this on 70-640 as I was getting 100% on this dump & only 700 (Passing score) on the real exam. The answers are in different orders & some of them are wrong. Good dump. Still valid. Few wrong answers from MAbdalla corrected in this dump. Got 25/25/21 questions. failed 3 or 4 questions in every part. But nightmare ended. I pass today.
One new question, about cluster in separated sites with File Share Witness in first site. First site has network problems and you should run resources on second node. One answer was about Quorum fixing. Another three about changing options of cluster resources.

I just take the Exam before a few days ago, exam support to be 71 Q but the strange part that my exam was 48 Q, neither windows server 2008 R2 or win7 was covered, the exam split to 3 parts Like everyone said, 640, 642, 643.
Exam only covered windows server 2008 and win vista, yet I thought there was some error from Prometric side, I think it was the old version of the 70-649 exam questions before R2 and win7 released.

Is the exam split into 3 sections so one section is answering questions on 70-640 and than moves onto 70-643 and another part on 70-642 or is it just one large exam covering the 3 sub exams

Smile - I don't know which ones are wrong. There were no new questions, just knowing these answers is enough to pass. If you want a 1000 I would focus on the 640 portion it seems to have the most errors.

@kumar, 70-649 is a combination of 3 exams. 70-640, 70-642 and 70-643. after each exam, you will be asked to review, after cannot go back, then the next exam is given. at the end you will have 3 scores. you have to pass each exam with 700 or better. fail one, fail all. this exam is retired in july 31. 2013 so you need to hurry up. good luck.

For me, the correct order for Q29 is:
- Modify the Products and Classifications settings
- Synchronize the WSUS server
- Approve the updates
Because in the question, they just synchronized WSUS, and new updates from recent added Products based in type of Classification will available to approved only after new Synchronize.

Just throwing my 2p's worth in with regards to Q66..

Although Group Policy would be used for central deployment of many things.. I don't think that download source to Microsoft Update servers is an available option in GPO.

I think it has to be defined as a part of the WSUS policy that the endpoints are configured by when they check in to the central WSUS server.. In this case, Server1.
