Dedulas, I am waiting for 4.8. When you are going to upload?
@ Devine05 it might be then again it might not, if you read peoples comments you'll be able to gauge that answer. btw would you like someone to sit the exam for you also?
@ Sarah read the comments you'll find an amundence of information such as how may question, what testlets people got and so on, its an amazing feature that there scroll down option. works wonders for you
@testy I agree its whats ASKED not whats BEST PRACTICE and in the case of Exam U Q1 whats asked does not require FSRM. I set it up todat put on a 10 GB Basic disk partitioned it in 3 and gave all 3 different NTFS quotas.
As for Q6 well i agree with your previous comments about teh requirements, ie its a remote restore and unless your superman you wont be able to use a DVD, so A WED would be teh answer. I guess with these two questions its use your head and pick what you think is right based on knowledge experience ets or go with teh Pass4Sure answer. personally id go with the knowledge one. so in release 4.8 both answers will be changed with explanations
@negrinhuam and @dedulas. WDS is a deployment tool but what you normally do is create a customised image, strip the machine specific info and then use that to deploy. I can't see much of a difference between that and leaving the machine specific info in there for server recovery. I don't think WDS cares too much about that as long as it's in a format it can deal with and isn't corrupt?
As for Exam U Q1. MS exams are also an English exam. You need to carefully read EXACTLY what is being asked. It could be either best practice or minimum necessary. In the case of Q1 it is minimum necessary. FSRM would be a best practice (in the real world). If English isn't your first language then I can see how you could easily get mixed up.
@testy Re Exam U Q1 just fired up a VM added a new disk created 2 basic volumes on that disk and gave each one different NTFS Quotas by just right clicking and selecting properties then Quotas. so you are correct. the question now is why the hell pass4sure had FSRM checked. i guess its down to the term VOLUME and what its defined as in the MS world, but in general its a replacement term for DISK, theypre pretty much interchangable. gonna play some more with teh VM and add more space to it and see can i find justification for teh answer but as it stands in V4.8 teh answer will be changed based on this info
Going to give exam on 30th. Hope I pass. Been reading this dump.
@spaceworm. No its not the link above, if you scroll back through the comments you'll fine a link to media fire from me, the newest link is the most current, I only put up 4.7 in the last two to three days. If you're not under pressure I'll be putting up a 4.8 tomorrow via media fire once I look at the two comments below you. Once I have a loo and put together some form of explanation I'll upload it. It should be done by abou 5pm GMT tomorrow if no earlier just keep checking back say 18 hours from now.
Great work dedulas and to all those who have contributed, I was wondering if you can quickly point me in the right direction as I'm a bit confused.. when the file is updated with the new questions, where can I download the updated file from? is it the usual one at the top of this page? or do I need to get it from somewhere else?
Cheers
Spaceworm
@dedulas and @Testy, would like to say kudos to you for the brain storming.. was reading your post with keen intrest. and for the most part i think Testy is correct "i think" on the Q6, had to do some research and culdnt find a basis for testy's answer on http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/.. but found a link that agrees with Testy AGAIN, pls check this out cos if this link is anything to go by. I think Testy is right and the answer would be A- deploy backups using WDS.
the link is http://www.webworldarticles.com/e/a/title/Windows-Deployment-Services:-Basic-steps/. pls check it out
@testy what you'll probably hear is peopel just asking how valid the dump is in outer mongolia or something instead of reading and seeing what results people are getting.
teh only thing i can see with that VHD answer is that WDs is used for installations, can it be used for server recovery? that said it is the only solution that meets teh remote recovery requirement
@dedulas, thanks for all your work with this. It's very much appreciated.
Also, These are just my thoughts so I could well be wrong. If anyone else has a different explanation I'd love to hear it.
@Testy. on the Q6 I agree with your logic behind it, the other three answers make no sense because they dont allow remote restore what so ever so I'll make that change for the next release. (I was leaving this until monday but I'll bring it forward until tomorrow)
as for Q1, there has to be some reasoning behind them selecting FSRM and i'm thinking that its because its specifies Departmental Volumes. now if it said departmental SHARES then FRSM would be needed, but it says volumes. might fire up a VM i have and see can i add a volume to it and play with it. I'm thinking you're correct with your thinking behind this one. I'll let you know how i get on.
@dedulas
Exam U Q1 GDI B - I would also use FSRM for quotas in a real environment. My issue with this question is that it specifies NTFS quotas on volumes. NTFS quotas work differently from FSRM quotas and do not require any additional role services to function:
"Microsoft Windows has included support for disk quotas on NTFS volumes since Windows 2000, but this support is limited in several ways:
Disk quotas are per-volume. That is, you can enable quotas only at the volume level, not the folder level."
http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/configuring-volume-folder-quotas.html
That is exactly what has been asked for. An NTFS quota at the volume level. No role service is required for this as it is part of the NTFS format and Windows has the abililty to implement them natively.
While FSRM could do this better, it is not "necessary". I believe the question is to test the cadidates knowledge in the differences between NTFS quotas and FSRM,
Exam U Q6 - Windows Server Backup will create a full backup and the incrementals by default. You can run a full backup manually from the GUI so I imagine you could script this using powershell.
WSB creates VHD's. These can actually by mounted to 2K8 R2 natively as a drive and explored.
The technical requirements specifically state that all restores must be performed remotely. D is out as NTBackup is not in 2k8 R2, B and C also don't work for me as they both require the tech to be sat in front of the machine to boot it from the cd, enter the environment and then perform the recovery from the console. Answer A would allow a VHD to be deployed to the server by PXE and is a truely remote solution as the backup is streamed to the server. Most servers these days can be physically powered up and down as well as configured remotely.
@testy Exam U Q1 GDI B
your requirements are. All department drives need NTFS Quotes, Minimize Download time for office documents and ensure files are open from the closed location and files must be accessible from teh same path, so we can agree that B&D are needed. as for A well your creating quotas for each Volume and FSRM has a Quota Management option http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755603%28v=ws.10%29
Exam U Q6 no idea thats the answer from teh pass4sure file hence why theres no explanation. so if you think thats a better answe throw up soem links with explanations as to why this is right and teh other is wrong and we can change it. can server backup create vhd files? are they bootable? or are they incremental backups?
GDI Case B - You are planning a backup solution in the event that a file server is unable to boot into windows. Indicated answer, B: Boot into the recovery environment and use WBAdmin.
The requirements state that all installations and recovery must be performed remotely. Is option B a remote solution? Would option A, deploying the backup using WDS not be more suitable (WDS can deploy VHD's).
GDI Case B - You need to configure the role services on all file servers. Indicated answers A, B, D
The requirements state that volumes use NTFS quotas. FSRM does not use NTFS quotas so should A be included in the answer?
hi guys! Does anyone know anything about the 4 new questions in the testlet 2?
I would greatly appreciate replies about it. thank you very much.
@Kostas migrating GPOs are not as simple as moving ADMX files. if its a GP Template then yes move teh ADMX file or better yet use a central store that way if you modify a template then its availible to all other servers immediatly. but if its a GPO that you have created then you need to back it up first then import it. info can be found here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc781458%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
@ Haitham salem any chance you might remember a little bit more information around that question?
booked exam yesterday. after 400 km major problems with Prometric, have failed to start the exam. I have postponed the examination. Prometric assistance was scandalous. I am very angry.

It's totally valid i pass 3 hour ago with 930 only one new question and i think that was easy once it was something about migrate policy setting to another server and the answer i think i something with using copy of admx file. sorry i cannot remember the right question and answer. But i this is valid and also is pretty accurate
@Majid, sorry to hear about that. can you give any indication as to wher eyou feel we went wrong? teh reason i ask is there has been a high number of people getting 800+ on thisso i'm wondering if there are a lot of newer questions ro maybe we do have some wrong and you were unfortunat enough to get those ones while teh other swere not
Took exam yesterday and failed with 661 dump is about 70% valid
Abhi from Australia
Thanks Dedulas for your hard work.Passed yesterday. 50 question( 20 question, 7 scenarios ( 3 - 5 question each scnerios).3-4 new questions.
@billgate they are different because that's how theese exams work. There is a pool of questions. In this exam there are something like 18 testlets, people seem to currently be asked about 7 per exam with 4 to 5 questions per testlet. Then there's a pool of 90 to 100 mixed questions and about 15 point and click and people are getting about 20 of these per test. In total you get about 50 questions on the day out of a pool of about 250 questions in total . But two people sitting the same exam at the same time even in the same test centre are unlikely to get identical questions.

@lila I don't, but if you download the visual cert exam designer application with your visual cert exam manager application I'm pretty certain you can export it to pdf but it'll be huge.
Could I suggest you do the exams without the timer set, that way after each question you can read the explanations. Might save you a few bucks.also google about the MS self paced book is out there in pdf on file shares, just make sure its the R2 version because there are differences and the exam is based on R2
Passed Today 914/1000
this dump is valid
@dedulas
Do you have this VCE on PDF version that you could share? I'll like to study the material from other locations were I can't have a VCE installed.
Thank you in advance

-- Unicast image.. ??
thanks dedulas
@Kosta maybe 5-6 answer changes
hi i just wonna know is there much difference between 4.2 and 4.7 or only explanation because i use 4.2 to prepare for the exam
I was using v4.7 but i'm redownloading it to see if it mentions the same. Possibly i have an old 4.7?
the number of the question is 69 and was on Exam T Testlet Research, Thanks for the quick reply.
@ICCM what version of the file are you using because in V4.7 the answer we have is C. deploy using MSI.
your requirements are App1 binary and Exe are intellectual property and as such users should not be able to access them or copy them, that means they can not be installed on their local PC because if they are they would be installed in the program files folder and can be copied by anyone with access to the PC. that rules out using a GPO because GPOs install on the local PC, so A and B are not the right answer.
Deploy using a RDP would in general work if teh Intellectual Property requirement was your only requirement but its not, the app needs to run via document invocation ie when someone double clicks on a file with a particular extension then the file causes the app to run, MSI (WIndows Installer Package) is the only way to achieve this.
What Exam is saying the answer is A?
Dedulas, i'm finding a bit confusing the Testlet of trey research.where you have to provide a solution to access a app that has sensitive information. on the explanation you mentioned that a & b are out of the question, but on the exam the right choice is A. Wich one is it?
Either i'm missing something or the explanation is not assigned to the correct question.
Can you please clarify since my answer as B deploy it by using a .rdp but the answer correct was A deploying thru an .MSI file.
Exam T : Testlet Trey Research
Thanks in Advance
@pinpongball any idea what questions are wrong because I'm sitting in a week and need to get sorted. also what testlet had teh new question and do you knwo what it is? can you recall any of teh questions you did get so we can look at them
@Garry no one ever mentioned having them but i'm sure there's an ISO you cna download if you google it, I know teh self paced book is availible just make sure you get the R2 version
This dump is valid. Kudos to Dedulas/ xnet. But not all the answers are correct. I got two new question. One for Testlet and one general question which was not part of any dump. I just managed to pass out. definately some answere are not correct in dump. It could be i just got that question whch has incorrect answeres in the dump..

@dedulas , thank you very much for the response
@egypt couldn't tell you. There was a wrong answer in the first file I put up so I took it down and changed it so the newist link from me is the most current file.
Are the answers in the dump right? Well people are getting 800 and 900+ so they're pretty accurate. Only bill gates knows if they are all right :)

Are there answers wrong ????? Is this dump valid in Egypt ???
@dedulas , thank you very much for the response. And all the hard work that you are doing for those of us out here. It is just that they like to trip us up just to see if we are paying attention or just doing it by root.
here you go folks sorry for the snafu
http://www.mediafire.com/?j3fzeh779ja3j07
as usual its a .rar file so use winrar or equivalant to unpack it to your disk then work away as usual.
This will most likely be the last release for a week or two UNLESS:
someone finds major problems in this file i.e. lots of wrong answers (doubtful at this point)
Or
We get a breakdown of the new questions. we know there's about 5.
as an FYI GDI Case B seems to be one testlet that has come up a lot in the last 2 weeks .
for anyone sitting soon best of luck with this and your future certification and please do as myself, Virtual-R, Ant, SOK and everyone else has done - give back dont just as whats valin and then bugger off. enter the discussions, find explanations for why questions are right and wrong etc.
on a personal note can i recommend you folk pick up this CD:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Stars-are-Eternal-You/dp/B008CTJ4TO
this guy is an amazing atrist/producer and if his previous works are anything to go by this will blow your socks off. also look out for his Electronic Dance Album called These Hopefull Machnes,
@lila yeah there was a problem in teh file, i had a wrong answer, changed it removed the old rar file and no i cant upload the bugger. working on it now will have it up ASAP, but basically the changes have been mentioned a few comments down, they're all in exam U, specifically Q2 and i've added the new question which is more or less teh same question.
sorry about teh trouble
The V4.7 is not available for download, is there any other link?
@dedulas, thanks for your response and ur latest version.. would get right to it.God help us all in our quest.
passed today . this dump is still valid i got 871/1000 .

I answered Multicast
Folks V4.7 is up. only minor changes
http://www.mediafire.com/?3hicz1fmrakbspr
dded further explanations to some questions that did not have them.
Added possible new question to Exam U. there has been some discussion over Q2 in this testlet and it turns out that there is a new question that is more or less identical but with different answers. I've copied Q2 and changed the answers to those we have been given this will be Exam U Q9. thanks ANT
Changed Exam U Q2 from B to D. feel free to correct me if im wrong.
chances are this will be the last release until we get definite copies of new questions.
Passed few minutes ago with 978 scores. 21 standard questions and 7 testlets. Totally 50 questions.
There were about 3 new questions and some differences in testlets. I'll try to give more information later.
Valid Passed Today . 1 Testlet 21 questions and then the rest of 6 testlets.
I received 3 new questions regardind Graphic Design Institute Case B.
Dump valid in India, passed with 900. Thanks Dedulas, much appreciated
@negrinhuam i did answer your Q but someone must have reported me when i pulled teh piss out of them ;) anyway 4.6 is about as valid as i can get it, there are 2 changes for 4.7. 1) teh discussion yesterday with shellsbear its teh GDI case B Q2, also added a Q to this same case. its almost identical to Q2 but with 2 different answers in teh list as mentioned by ant.
I'll put out a 4.7tonight then unless there's any major changes like new questions to add or what not I wont be relelasing any more until teh first week in July, basically I'll be sitting mine then and I'll put a v 5.0 out once i've passed. it may or may not have any changes on teh 4.7, depends on if i will remember/get any new Qs on my test
To anyone asking if this dump is valid, PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE COMMENTS. it'll amaze you that just a few lines below where you ask is it valid you'll find someone in the last 24 hours telling you how valid they feel it is. FFS why do people always want stuff handed to them? every second post is "how valid is this" we even had one asking how valid is it when eh comment below it was form someone saying "passed today with 900+" jesus give me patience
@walid, 70-640 and 642 are both straight 50questions but 70-646 is not has testlets and misq. say 5-7 testlets of 4-5 questions depending on the country then the rest are misq.
@dedulas i read its that exam has 21q-and 7 testlet but other exam 50q i want to be sure
@dedulas, been following this post and want to say great job.. but want to ask if v4.6 will still be valid cos i have mine on the 30th of this mnth.
@sal cheers I'll maybe just clarify in the explanation on the next release then,. fair play on the pass best of luck in what ever you do next
@walid learn to read its been said countless times before
@Sal No new questions? differents testlets? all in the dump v.4.6?
v.4.6 is 100% valid passed yesterday with 978 score.
@Dedulas Exam T Q2 is .MSI for sure don't change it
@Dedulas T Q2
.msi because " document invocation " don't work with .rdp !
@dedulas, I was just about to mention about Exam T Q2, I selected D deply as a RDP file. My answer was wrong? Hmmm..will research on that one.
@h no they cant its completly random, MS selects then when you sit your exam and not everyones exam is the same.
@all just looking at Exam T Q2. the given answer is C use an MSI file but doesnt an MSI file install locally on the PC? sould the answer not be D deply as a RDP file? especially considering the explanation is giving rdp details
hi please somebody can tell me the names of differents testlets that he saw when he was writting his exam. i have to write my own tomorow morning at 9:00.so tell me. thanks
@shellsbear you could be on to something here, just reading teh self paced book and it says Discover images are used to deploy images to computers that are not PXE-enabled or on networks that don't allow PXE. These images are written to CD, DVD, or USB media and the computer is started off the media rather than off the PXE network card, which is the traditional method of using WDS. now as you've said the networks are PXE, the testklet makes no mention of DHCP or other PXE requirements so its safe to assume that they are all met. C is out coz bitlocker needs 2 partitions, A is out cos ita a disk install and you need an unattended install.
@G any chance you remember the question and some of the possible answers so we can update the dump?
Passed today with 892/1000. The GDI testlet was included in the exam and had one question in it that is not in this dump.
@lifter6000 can you give a specific exam and question number so people can go look at it and come back to you, there's something like 15 questions that are interactive, which one you talking about?
@Aragorn cheers, i've just been doing random qs og 50 questions including testlets, time to change strategy and do blocks of 30qs on the mixed q&a and then each testlet.
@ant I'll add you two answers in as a new question for the next release, so it'll be the same q with slightly different answers
@shellsbear not in the office right now I'll have a look at that in a bit cheers.
@dedulas
The time limit is diferent if you come from a non-english country, you get like 30 minutes extra on the big exam and ironicly you also get 30 mins extra on each of the testlets.. hehe, plenty of time.
For native-english speaking there is time limit on around 2h15m for the whole test, around 1h15m for the 21Q and then around 14 minutes for each testlet where you usually get like 3-5 questions, the more questions you get the more time you get, around 3 minutes per question.
@dedulas @shellsbear
In my case when i sat up for exam i had GDI Case B, and this question which u're discussing (GDI B Q#2) had little different answer options . A, B were as in the dump and C was "use unicast image deployment" , D was "use multicast image deployment" . answered D by myself as far as i remember :D i'm not sure that my answer was right but still this question with slightly different answer options may show up for somebody @ exam.
Thanks dedulas ! I passed today with 900+ !
take a look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd637996(v=ws.10)
According to the EXHIBIT the GDI already uses WDS and has PXE to distribute it already,so if that is the case then the answer D would be appropriate.
Sorry about that, I meant GDI case B Q #2
Hey dedulas, I am confused on the "Build a List" questions. Is the correct answer the Ordered List you have in the answer? Or should my list look like the picture below.. because it looks reversed to me. If I build my list to look as the picture does it grades it incorrect. If I build my list on the left side to reflect the answer, but not the picture, it grades it as correct. Thank you for your help.
passed today with +900 ,thanks deadulas greatly appreciated ,if u ve an idea of visiting ethiopia i will be ur host ,i owe u for the great job, what are u thinking about proceeding to the next level of the certification?
@shellbar. take a look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd637996(v=ws.10)
discover image is a type of boot image that you can use to install an operating system on a computer that is not capable of network booting using the Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE). You may want to use a discover image in the following scenarios:
A client is on a different subnet and you do not have method of getting PXE to the client (for example, IP helper tables or Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP)).
however if you look at the requirement "the install method needs to be an unattended install" so which method works for an unattended install, over the network, and possibly in a different subnet? PXE wont work unless all campus are on teh same subnet which is unlikley.
have you any links to support answer D?
@shellsbear there is no Q18 on GDI case B
on Q 18 GDI case B the answer B for this is think is incorrect due to the fact that the GDI already uses WDS and is already using the PXE so they have to have network connections.
Per A discover image is a type of boot image that you can use to install an operating system on a computer that is not capable of network booting using the Pre-Boot Execution Environment (PXE). You may want to use a discover image in the following scenarios:
A client is not PXE-enabled.
Yet in the exhibit it clearly states that they are already using PXE so the answer should be D:
hi,please somebody can tell me the real testlets that he saw after finish to pass the exam
Passed 800+ used ver 4.2 thanks Dedulas about 5 new quest (21 MCQ + 7 Testlets)
@Aragorn thanks for the heads up, I'm set to sit mine first week of July so I'll make a point of reading everything again to be sure I'm answering the question based on the new info. can you tell me what the time limit is? is it 2 hours as we have it set in the dumps or do we get more time?
@axel this dump is as valid as you'll get right now. we know there are a bunch of new questions, the majority of people taking the test in the last month are getting 4-5 new questions. as for how longs its valid for well we cant really answer that but as MS add more questions to the pool then this dump and others become less valid. as yet i haven't been able to get any sources of the new questions and no one has come back and given us any clues for us to add into this dump.
the best advise i can offer is use this dump to test knowledge not learn answers to specific questions, use CBT nuggets, the MS course ware & Self Paced books (which can be found online on media fire etc if you look hard enough) and know the material then any new question will be easy enough to handle.
This is 99% valid
Took exam yesterday and passed at 900.
They changed some small things in some of the testlets (requirements changed) and added a few questions. Beware of the changes since it means the answer may differ compared to this, so always read the info even though you "think" you know the answer!
@lemontree Q6 asks to provide a solution to the users requirements and DFS-R is the only answer that meets the requirement of a central location for file shares. Q7 says the same thing provide a solution to the users requirements, which is a central location for all file share, there is no requirement for any redundancy on the file servers as would be provided by replication. so a name space is sufficient given the answers listed.
that's probably why the answers are different, though both questions are the same they do not provide the same options to answer from. the explanation for Q7 mentions failover but on review failover is not required for the file servers its only required for the intranet site. so I'll change the explanation for Q7 in the next release
Can you check examT Q6 and Q7? Same question but different answer.
cleared my exam today..thank you very much
Iv got my exam booked for July 4th, lets hope Microsoft dont change or add anything to the exam :D
@Matt apart from hands on practice of configuring and admin work on the servers oi cant think of anything else. with the newer questions coming into rotation its better to know the subject matter than answers to specific questions that way you can answer what ever they throw at you. well that's what I'm hoping for at the end of the month anyway LOL
@dedulas This dump is great !!! i am due to be taking this exam within the next month or so. I have the microsoft book and cbt vids to aid in my studies. Any ideas on any other resource ? also is this valid in the uk ?
@Jeffery no one that has passed has come back with copies of them so i cant include them, normally they're added when a new version is put out there by pass4sure etc, but its only 4-5 questions that people are getting so you should be ok especially if you know the material, take some time to read the explanations for the questions we do have, this information may be helpful in answering the new questions
@MrKP fair play dude best of luck with them all, looking to book mine tomorrow for the end of the month
@lifter both could be right it depends on the testlet. Which exams are they from? There's bound to be information in the testlet that indicates why one is different from the other. Let us know which testlets and we'll see what we can find
Thank you for your hardwork Dedulas and all the comments. I just passed with 850. Around 3-4 new questions on the testlets. Good luck all.
Can someone please answer this for me? There seems to be 2 different answers in this engine:
"You need to recommend a process for monitoring the servers. The provess must meet the company's technical requirements. What should you include in the recommendation?
A. Microsoft System Center Operations manager
B. event subsrciptions
C. Resource Monitor
D. Data Collector Sets (DCSs)
B and D came up in this engine, which are right?
anyone know what the hell is up with Exam P? Q6 only has 3 answers, answer D is Answer ID D. also Q4, is it just me or have none of the answers go anything to do with the actual question? all the answers are to do with FIle servers/DFs etc but the question is about promoting an RODC
PASS! Score 850, 100% valid, 21 Questions and 7 Testlets all from this dump
Thank you Dedulas!
@Tony M yes the new server is x64 because its an R2 build but the question is specifically talking about the migration of the printer queues, not the printer itself.
also printer drivers are not added to printer queues they are added to printer devices, the queue is a list of all outstanding jobs waiting to be printed. finally the answers specifically say add the drivers to the queues which makes no sense.
90% valid on friday 15-06-2012 , 3 new questions.
21 Questions and 7 Testlets with 4-5 questions each.
@Dedulas
Excuse me Dedulas, but the first sentence says:
"You are planning to migrate the print server to a new server that runs Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise."
This is the print server with 250 printers.
Thank you
Thank you alot Dedulas. I passed exam with score 913 one hour ago. studied only the v4.6
@ Tony M, re W Q5 read the question again, it ssays you are planning on migrating the Queues not the prints or the print server, so the implication is that the printer devices are already installed. it also says The destination server has the Print and Document Services role installed. again adding to the assumption that the server is built and ready to go live with the relevant printers and drivers installed and all you want to to is migrate the print jobs from the queues so no one looses any work. in the migration process teh moving of queues is the last step and you need the drivers installed prior to this step
v4.6 in .zip format http://www.mediafire.com/?hdbrozpoja0r3v1 winrar or 7Zip would be needed to open first
pass 2day with score 893
thx every buddy ....
Thank you, but unable to download.
Thank u Dedulas for ur effort but please upload the v4.6 compressed with winrar becuz i can't upload it this way becuz it stops b4 it gots completed
Passed today 923, 100% valid, studied only this dumb..
Hello Dedulas,
Thank you for your work.
There was an error in exam W Q5:
It is necessary to add the x64 drivers on Server 2003 source.
for you: http://dl.free.fr/rjl76YZrz
ref: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd379488.aspx
thank you
Passed today (914). Thank God.
A big shout out to Virtual r and Dedulas. God bless you Dedulas and thanks a lot.
3 New Questions mostly in Graphic and Design Institute (GDI), Contoso & Lucerne.
Studying and knowing the reasons for the answers in this dump will be more than sufficient for any & all new questions. Thanks again Dedulas for sharing & all the hardwork bro.
You're welcome Dedulas. I am glad I can contribute to this community.
I will try it in 2 weeks with v4.6. I will let you know about if I pass or fail the exam!
Version 4.6 is available
http://www.mediafire.com/?crsemhnzazqi7mr
THANKS GOD
Valid . well done Dedulas . only 4 new Q 3 of them in Graphic Design , and off course the answers came in completely different order and simple changes in few Q.but, totally this material is valid to get more than 800 without studying any other dumps.
now I am MCITP
GOODLUCK Everyone
@ Bon well done mate, thanks for the assistance on all versions.
pretty much finished with V4.6 so let me know if there's anything else.
changes this version are:
Exam C Q 13 added additional clarification re licensing requirements.
Exam I Q 7 changed Explanation
Exam C Q 4 theres some confusion over this, the requirements point to Answer A or B, but the application that is to be installed points to A yet the edition of the OS doesent support the required feature.
Exam U Q 4, please read the notes, it has been suggested that we actually need 3 answers and I tend to agree, however the question clearly states what 2 steps. So for now I'm leaving at steps E & F, however read the question carefully in the exam hall, if its is changed to what steps then add step C (thanks SoK for highlighting that)
Exam F Q2 switching back to Answer B, (again tnx S0K)
Exam G Q6 Confirmend that it is powershell and not IIS as teh answer.
. Can't remember the question number off hand I'll check tomorrow but the one where we thought it should be IIS or powershell, its powershell. I'll make sure I've updated file for tomorrow.
Also some of the qs relating to dfs I want to look at again, was reading the selfpaced book tonight and some stuff occured. Basically if there's clusters involved your limited to the type of dfs, you cany use domain only stand alone. I'll verify if we have the right answers in and update the descriptions accordingly if not.
Dear Dedulas & Virtual,
First of all, again..Thank you..Thank you and Thank you..
I DID IT !! I PASS the test..score 850, I thought I know them all, here comes the new questions Austin & Northridge (within GDI), and the rest were 100% from here, but there's something we need make it correct, so that the next person will score 1000 LOL.
Testlet first with 4 questions, then 21 questions, follows by 4 more testlets, then D&D.
I was supposed to have this exam 3 weeks ago, waiting for school to issue voucher seems forever, and I finally got it.
Guys, at the test center, I really felt like I was in the octagon boxing ring, time agaist me, the questions were against me. Make sure you really focus.
GOOD LUCK ALL !!!
Thank you very much, score 807. 100% valid
Brussels: Passed today - pretty much as dump. Testlets - Lucerne, School of fine Art, Wing tip, Tailspin, City Power and Light. Two questions where they seem to have interchanged the "security" requirements with the "technical" requirements.
Well done Dedulas/ maith an fear!
@putinka not uncommon pray that happens in the exam :)
@ Bon
yes, your speel is right!
Thank you= Obrigado!
Exam O Testlet Shool of Fine Art
Question: recommend a solution that meets companys APPLICATION requirements - This question repeat 2 times.
Answers almost are the same
@SoK I agree 100% that it would appear that C is needed but the question states What TWO steps would you perform. not what steps. and you need E&F to get the first 2 requirements so maybe we're missing something in how the domain is structured or something. so i think we're back to just E&F
@putinka V4.6 will be released tomorrow at some point.
@dedulas
U Q4, I see where your going with the ServerSettings GPO being linked, either way I think we agree "C" is needed as part of the solution thou ;-)
F Q2 I'm 99.9% sure that Pass4Sure was correct, that it's GPP
Thank you (Obrigado!) Stranger. lol..I hope I spell it right.
No, all question without D&D, select or point and shot!
just question and testlet!
@Thiago Curti, Congrats!! was there any "Point and shoot" or "Select and place" questions?
i passed today in brz, 100% of questions are here!!
5 testlet: baldwin museum / City Pwr e Light / Lucerne / Blue Yonder / School of fine art and 22 question!!
i got 950!!!
@ Dedulas e Virtual-R you are the guys theh masters!!
and thanks to all that colaboratted!!
If you will take the exam in pt-br pay attention the translate are terrible, probably you got confusion!!
Exam I Q 4 ok the question says Nine VMs that run Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. Only five VMs will run concurrently. now Enterprise allows the running of 1 Physical with 4 virtual, as there will be 9 VMs would you not need to get 2 enterprise licenses allowing for 8 VMs? where are we getting 1 license from
@dedulas, thank u:), passed the exam 879 the exam is valid in south africa.
@SoK Re F Q2. yes GPP will also work but the requirements is minimum administrative effort. so which takes teh least effort GPP or ADMX file via GPO? for what its worth the original answer provided by Pass4Sure was B Group Policy Preferences
@Sok re Exam U q4 I've just put teh structure together in a DC and took a screen shot of it. thisis how i interperate teh information given http://imgur.com/ylKT6 it on the secon page of teh exhibit it says that the ServerSettings GPO applies to all servers not all file servers. So that means one of two thints, its linked to the CH_Servers OU OR its linked higher like at a domain level because then it applies to ALL servers in all regions. as teh full structure is not clear I'll assume its applied on all CH servers only. if you first carry out step F you create the MigratedServers GPO, then you create the R2 WMI filter and apply that to the GPO you just created, then you carry out step E which links the MigratedServers GPO with teh WMI filter to the CH_FileServers OU. that takes care of requirements 1 & 2 does it not?
now requirement 3, ok the settings are IE settings and as its stands you're right those setings would apply unless you block them, B wont work because it then blocks them for teh 2003 servers which you dont want. A wont work is a "replacement" for F but its wrong anyway because its applying 2008 settings to 2003 servers which is as useful as tits on a bull. D is pointless so yes C looks like its needed. I'll update V4.6 with this And I'll stick in that image i have for teh laugh
@dedulas
U Q4. Page 1 of the Exhibit shows the current Charlotte servers are Server 2003, on page 2 they as listed as CHDATA01, CHDATA02, CHDATA03, CHDATA04. All 4 of those servers reside in an OU called "CH_FileServers". Question says we are migrating two of them (CHDATA03, CHDATA04) to 2008 R2, and that our changes must not impact CHDATA01 or CHDATA02 (which are staying 2003). There is an existing GPO called "ServerSettings" (Exhibit Page 2), which is linked on "CH_FileServers", so it currently applies to all 4 servers. Question states that it must NOT apply to CHDATA03, CHDATA04 after migration. Without "C", that GPO will apply to CHDATA03, CHDATA04. The solution must have 3 answers (C, E, F) not just (E, F) or it is incomplete.
M Q1, sorry I hadn't checked that you'd already updated it. As per earlier discussion it was wrong, (about BranchCache) but is fixed in 4.5
I'm was agreeing that C Q23 is correct. @SSS was saying it was wrong earlier. His argument was that "C" didn't explicitly say autonomous, only "A" did.
@dedulas I've actually deployed registry changes via GPP in a real world environment, but if you download the GPP whitepaper at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24449
"The Registry preference extension provides a flexible and easy-to-use way to create, replace, update, and delete registry settings on multiple computers. To use Group Policy settings to configure arbitrary registry settings, you must create an Administrative template. With the Registry extension, you can use three different preference types to add Registry preference items to a GPO and organize them:
• Registry Item. Configure an individual registry setting, including the REG_SZ, REG_DWORD, REG_BINARY, REG_MULTI_SZ, and REG_EXPAND_SZ types.
• Collection Item. Create a folder in which to organize Registry items, similar to how Windows organizes settings in them. However, you don't have to organize these folders in the same hierarchy as the registry keys and subkeys. Instead, you can organize settings by department, location, and so on.
• Registry Wizard. Import one or more registry settings from the local computer or from a remote computer. You can select individual registry settings or entire registry branches.
Using the Registry preference extension is a great way to deploy settings without having to write scripts. For example, you can deploy settings for a third-party application or an application that isn't Group Policy-aware. However, using the Registry extension to deploy settings for which Group Policy preferences already provide a user interface is discouraged."
I go tomorrow for the exam, I hope to save it and have luck, because the testlets become very confusing for me. By the way, very thanks from now to Dedulas and everybody who work in this vce for us.
@ben i agree with you. however if you look at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc757745%28v=ws.10%29.aspx, so it is possible the answer is B but it makes no mention of the edition. so maybe pick one and cross your fingers if it comes up
@dedulas
I sure failover cluster is the right answer but the answer says installation core with 2008 r2 standard edition, and standard edition don't support failover cluster.
@ben re c q4 true if you look to the bottom if this it says just that http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd443539%28v=ws.10%29.aspx now the reqs say minimize the attack surface so its clearly A or B (server core install)
also the Q says "You are designing a server infrastructure to support a new stateful application" NLBs dont support Statefull. so B is cant be right in that case, so either there is a typo in teh question and the mean stateless app or the answer shoudl be A server core R2 Enterprise edition with failover clustering.
@dedulas
vce 4.5 exam C Q4 the answer should not be A because the standard edition don't have the failover cluster fonctionnality. So I think the answer is B
Re Exam I Q7 will add this to V4.6
Re Exam I Q1 will add in v4.6
Re Exam U Q4 but C is targeting 2003 servers. F states create a GPO, Create a filter for 2008 server R2 Server and link that filter to the GPO you just created, then by doing step E you are linking the GPO(with the 2008 R2 filter) to an OU so why do you need step C if the GPO is linked in step E? again especially that it included a filter for 2003 server
Re EXAM M Q1 why is the explanation wrong?
re Exam C q23 are you saying we have the answer (currently C) wrong?
@sok re f2 you're 100% correct in what you say but can you show me where GPP allows registry changes? All I can find is stuff rrlated to drive mappings, printers and other basic user "experience" settings. Also let's be fair creating an admx file isn't a huge deal and deploying it would be the sam amount of admin effort as a GPP. I mean both need to be created then deployed using GPO. So there's no big difference from that perspective. I'll get back on your other points a bit later to discuss
Thanks Dedulas. I really appreciate your work. I passed today with a really great score. This is a righteous dump. Study it, and you won't go wrong.
Also to weigh in on the earlier discussions:
Exam F Q2
Your overthinking ;-) Question specifies minimum amount of administrative effort. A GPP that edits the registry is quicker and easier to implement than a WinRM based solution, or a custom ADMX solution. Yes you could acheive the result with those, but a Group Policy Preference is the "minimum amount of adminsitrative effort". Neither the question or the problem statement say that the registry settings must be enforced, just able to be altered without a technician manually attending to the machine. GPP is the correct answer.
Exam C Q23
Autonomous is the default installation option, so as Answer C doesn't explicitly say Replica or Autonomous, it defaults to Autonomous. Answer A is incorrect, because internet traffic must be minimized and if the branch servers are fully autonomous without an upstream they will each download all the updates independently, causing five times the internet traffic.
Exam M 1
Domain based DFS is the correct answer, and the explanation is incorrect.
S Q1
I believe DCS is the correct answer
U Q4
I think Ash was on to something here.
A is clearly wrong
B would impact CHDATA01 and CHDATA02
D is unrelated
F is "correct" but if the new GPO isn't linked it aint going to do shit, so E must ticked as well. Question states that the existing ServerSettings GPO must not apply to CHDATA03/CHDATA04 after migration so C must also apply, to stop the existing GPo applying to the 2008 servers.
On the face of it there should be 3 answers, C, E, F. What do others think?
Exam I Q1
Expalanation only partially answers reasons for that choice, a better explanation would be:
Server 2008 introduces support for GPT disks in cluster storage
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770625(v=ws.10).aspx
Why GPT over MBR?
Exhibit says SQL servers are connected to a RAID5 array of 5x2TB disks, giving 8TB possible storage. GPT allows for drive sizes over 2TB.
Why Basic over Dynamic?
Only Basic discs can be used in a failover cluster
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc733046.aspx
Exam I Q7
Explanation is for RODC role seperation, Correct explanation should be:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc732590(v=ws.10).aspx
You can use role-based administration to organize certification authority (CA) administrators into separate, predefined CA roles, each with its own set of tasks. Roles are assigned by using each user's security settings. You assign a role to a user by assigning that user the specific security settings that are associated with the role. A user that has one type of permission, such as Manage CA permission, can perform specific CA tasks that a user with another type of permission, such as Issue and Manage Certificates permission, cannot perform.
Thanks for keeping the file updated.
folks latest rev is 4.5 http://www.mediafire.com/?5v9l79nz9lfm9v9 this link will give you a .rar file that needs to be opened with winrar or similar. most changes no seem to be just cosmetic until we can find copies of new questions
@ Dedulas Thanks for the comments. And thanks for the dump and helping me to get ready for my test.
Passed today 100% Valid, got about 22 Q&A and 7 testlets, got 2 new questions in Graphic Design Institute case B. Thnx for this dump! Virtual-R and Dedulas, great work!.
re c 13 technically you are right but you can rearm the licensing using slmgr.exe command http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948472 so you can evaluate for 240 days using this method. I'll update teh comments to include this link
@ Alain also I'm not sure roamoing profiles will copy teh My Documents folders as part of teh profile, there is a requirement that users can connect to "their Documents folder" from any client pc, so teh best option wold be folder redirection
@Alain to reduce Wan Utilization. with roaming profiles the profile will be downloaded form a central server to the client PC every time the user logs on, it also uploads when the log off. no imaging that being done for 4-70 users across a 1meg link every time someone logs onto a PC. Folder redirection is Less bandwidth intensive and as its applied via GPO the redirection happens when the user logs into a new PC
Exam P, Q1
Why is the answer A (Folder redirection) and not D (Roaming profiles)?
Thanks!
Exam C, Question 13
If you are evaluating the product for 180 days, wouldn't licensing be required? For Windows Server 2008 R2 the grace period is 120 days.
@ Dedulas Thanks for the explanation. I'll keep checking back to see if a consensus develops as to whether the answer is A (IIS) or D (Power Shell).
@sam scroll down through the comments you'll see a link from me for each version. Current one is 4.5
This time microsoft test engines sucks than the mcse days...every time proctor had to wait for atleast 20min for my final transcript..
I passed. Some advice, know each testlet well. The mixed questions only take up like 20 questions. I had 7 different testlets each 4—7 questions each. Thanks Dedulas
@dedulas Thanks so much for your help. This dump was excellent help in passing the 70-646 exam.
I got 6 testlets with 4 or 5 Q's each including Wingtip Toys (5 Q's), Blue Yonder Airlines (4 Q's), School of Fine Art (4 Q's), Proseware Inc (4 Q's), Trey Research (4 Q's), City Power and Light (4 Q's). I also got 21 misc Q's = 50 Q's in Total. Thanks to you for all of your help. I owe you a pint!
Come on You Boys in Green!
Got 892 today, thanks Virtual-R and Dedulas.
Thank you very much Dedulas, I passed today with 892.
Very valid and detailed dump, only had one new question.
Marvelous job.
@Keth as has been said before no one can answer this question except Microsoft. teh test is completly random, you will be give a selection of teh scenario based testlets, a selection ofrandom Q&A and a selection of random drag and drops which are included in this dump.
the best advice i can give is to read teh questions carefully and if you are unsure of the answerstraght away then remove those that just dont make any sense and are clearly wrong. then with teh remiaining answers just read the question again and again and if your still not sure just guess :) i mena if you're down to 2 possible answers then you a 50% chance of being right.
the key is to relax in the exam hall you have 2 hours or so, use it to teh best of your abiliy
Re F2 its definitly not Group Policy Preferences, these are enviromental changes, user experience changes etc not registry changes. Group Policy Admin Templets are the way to go here because they are desigend to be "enforced" so the users can not change then thus making the app unusable. Policies are enforcable preference are not.
re W12 you dont need a time because time is not relevant. yes the backup is set to start at a specific time but the key point is that during this period the server has performance issues. when you use WSRM and create a policy you simply state that "when X happens do Y" so you say for example When Backup.exe runs limit the amout of CPU cycles it has, limit the RAM it can use etc. by doing this it means that no matter when backup.exe runs your restrictions apply, time then does not become a factor so if you run a backup out of schedule you are still covered. remember WSRM is baed on processes & resourse utalisation and not time.
re M1 I'm going to leave this as C Domain DFS. the reason is Branch cache will work but it does not meet the requirements of central management. ie once an update is in cache in the branch then the HQ cant remove it from the cache easily. Wth DFS you can just delete it from the name space, and Domain DFS replicates so the updates will be the same in all branchs
Passed the exam with 871. 21 question 7 testlets no D&D.
This Dump is magic! Thanks Dedulas
100 % valid today i pass with 892 thankx dedulas you are the king you are the god of 70-646 you know i was too much scared like hell i prepare from your dums the gr8 thing in your dumps is valid detail description cheers man DEDULAS ROCKSS
Thanks Dedulas got 828 yesterday.
There was some new questions i found, but this dump helped me to cleared.
i recommend strongly others to take this as earliest.
Once again Thanks for your Dedication...
@ASH
congratz
Passed yesterday with 900+ and used just this dump to prepare. This dump is totally valid but I did see several new questions. But it is still a difficult exam even using the dump so study the material and read the explanations which can help you if they throw in some new questions.
hi,thanks for your answers. But somebody can tell me which testlets that he saw when he was writting his exam?is it frabrikam.plight, adatum, woodgrov, contoso etc
Also ,tell me how many drags and drop have you found when you was writting.thanks
@dedulas
I also thought this and still. However, because I do not enough exp. with ADMX templates I got confused and still. OK, I think you are right.
@all
Regarding Exam W Q 12:
Why this step is not in the answer? the time is required.
Create a calendar event to schedule the Resource Allocation Policy to run between 9:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M every Monday.
re F2 Group Policy Preferences are just that preferences, they can be changed by th user should they wish. te key here is teh fact that installation needs custom registry entries to enable teh app to run, now most users wont mess about with teh registery coz they have no clue about it. preferences do things like stop and start services, map drives redirect folders, desktop settings etc. they are basically "User Experience" settings
remember to install teh app a tech needs to sit at each PC, so by using an ADMX file thats applied using a GPO it saves the tech from having to do his which is pretty much what you are required to do. I'm prety sure the answer is A GP Admin Templates.
100% valid. passed today, but the most funny thing is I think Paddy and I took the same test because i had 2 new questions and all those questions plus same score 871 lolzzz !!! Thank u Dedulas and Virtual-R - God bless u :))
Passed today with 871, almost all of the questions came from this dump. I had 7 testlets:Lucerne, GDI Case B, TailSpin, Contoso, CPOL, SOFA and BYA. And 21 question multiple choice. I think there were 1 or 2 new questions. Thanks to
dedulas & virtual-r for the good work!!
@ant
Q F2: I got a chance to test GPP with a custom reg entry and it worked. you are right about this one. However, as far as I know, GPP settings could be changed by the users if they have access to the registry. Any way, I would go back to answer (B: Group policy Preferences), but I would read the Q in the exam if I get it to make sure that it is not required to force the reg setting and prevent users from changing it.
Q C4: So, this question should be read carefully in the real exam, as one word couls make the difference. also, it depends on which server the cluster would be. However, as long as the question is like the one in the VCE, Iwould stay with Answe A. (Failover Cluster).
Q G10: As you assured assured it, it is a stonger potential answer now. I agree with you about it.
@dedulas. May be you need to switch back to GPP 4.6 and sorry for the confusion, but at least we learned. :)
do we have any simulations in this 70-646 exam.please anyone answer
Passed the exam, thank you Dedulas, virtual-r and also thank you Deepa for your advice.
This is 100% valid in South Africa..I got 871/1000 only using this.
Thank You everyone for your help..good luck to those who will be writting and if you study this you will pass.
thank you dedulas & virtual-r....passed today 900.i study only this dumps..
wish you all the best for all..:-)
@dedulas
Exam F Q2 from my side i'd say that the answer is B (GP Preferences) though.cause it's told the App1 is a custom app and yeah GP Admin. Templates contain the registry-based policy settings that you configure for Group Policy objects.but guess it's useful for some err.*well-known* apps such as Office 2010 for example, you download those ADMX/ADML for it place them somewhere (central store in sysvol @ DC maybe) and use them for managing those Office 2010 settings after all.in the case of question itself i think it's less effort - to manage those App1 reg.settings through user/cpu policy-GP-Preferences-Registry.
Exam M Q1
in my opinion the answer is definetely C (domain-based DFS) i think it's just nothing to do here at all about software deployment req's and Hosted BrancheCache itself.
Exam C Q4
yeah if question sounds like it's in the dump i think the answer is A ( ServerCore and failover cluster) but in my case @ exam it sounded like "internet facing *stateless* app (i recalled it clearly after some time) so in such case i guess the answer is B by all means.
Exam G Q 10
i think u're right with B. Shadow copies should be enough to meet those tech. reqs. without envolving those Sharepoint Foundation tricks.
feel free to say if i'm wrong or talking bullsh*t ! =) good luck
@chombe
i spoke to prometric customer care and they told me to fill this forum
http://www.prometric.com/TestTakers/ContactUs/email.htm
@chombe
No need to worry you made it..check your candidate history in prometric a day after..i passed this exam with 900+ but the Procter was unable to print my score report (transcript) ..She said there was some problem with the exam engine..these score reports are completely personal..Microsoft and prometric is only concerned about pass or fail.if you still want to keep a copy of score report you can call to Microsoft customer care no 18001021100 or prometric customer care no 01244517160
Passed today. Thank you Dedulas! This was the only dump I studied from. Know your DNS (Forests, Zones, Trusts, a common theme.) Know this dump down pat and be prepared in that every question had the answers in random order.
Thanks again bid D! Sometime I hope to pay the favor foward!
@ASH
I think you mean K3 v4.4.
Anyway, In GDI Case A, it is mentioned that the network has old devices that dos not support port authentication which is one requirement for 802.1X.
So, answer is not 802.1X.
I Passed the exam today(914). However the test center was unable to provide me the score report. When I check on my candidate history of prometric website my exam status still pending. lot of stress. please any one faced similar problem help!!!
@bon that issue with the "take from exam" should be fixed now. You'll just find it goes A then E etc and then B C and D I can't figure out how to sort the sections correctly on the front page .
@ash unfortunatly I won't be able to check that one out for a few days, I'm intied up with no internet acces, maybe throw up some links to justify and I'll take a look, after all this isn't just my dump its the community dump we all contribute :) the good news is we are mostly right based upon the scores people are getting but new questins are being added.
@bon I compressed up using winrar so down load that for free to uncompress it. The original file was pretty large at 70+ mb and I was having trouble uploading it.
thanks mate
Are you sure that the answer of K Q4- NAP Enforcement - IPSEC???
I am confused because-
the planned chage's last line - the remote access client thing and Existing Net Infrastrctr 2nd Line- Wireless Access and switches
Is n't it 802.1X plz???
Hello Dedulas,
This is Bon again. I was trying to see your v 4.5, but .got .rar, and I changed to .vce, still got issue, corrupted file, any advise for me?
Also FYI to you..v 4.4, this is what I found:
When you click on Exam Mode -> "Take questions from selected section only" :
(when you choose)
Exam A Mix Q&A..you'll get a mix of Exam A, B, C
Exam B.........you'll get Exam E..
Exam C.........you'll get Exam F..
the same thing with the rest, basically they're scrambled
The rest, you've just contributed so much to this community, and I THANK YOU !!!
@ dedulas superb work done
Version 4.5
http://www.mediafire.com/?5v9l79nz9lfm9v9
--4.5 (June 6 2012)
Added new sections for clearer labeling of each Exam Section.
Added scenario name at top of each question (exam E through V) , the reason behind this is I tend take Random tests of 50 questions when doing the practice tests so its faster to have the exhibits for the testlets printed beside me and just refer to te eprintout than have to open and close multiple windows.
Changes:
Exam F Q2 changed from B to A
the reason is that ADMX files allow administrators to manage registry-based policy settings.
Am I wrong here?
Exam M Q1 Changed explanation
explanation was related to branch cache which may be wrong. answer could be either the current one C or B what are your opinions?
Exam C Q 23
Theres some debate about the correct answer, both A & C seem correct, which one meets the requirements better?
Exam C Q4 changed from B to A
requirements meet the services of Server Core and also Failover Clusters support Stateful apps, where as NLB is fore stateless apps
Exam G Q 6
could be either A or D. does anyone have an opinion?
Exam G Q 10 changed from D to B
Versioning is the method by which successive iterations of a document are numbered and saved.
100 % Valid passed today 6-6-2012 with 892 with this dump. 7 test lets, between 3 and 5 questions, all from here. 21 question multiple choice.about 4 or 5 new questions
What tends to happen with new questions is they are included in the exam but not marked. so you get 70 questions, 10 are new, you are only marked on the 60 old questions so if you get 60 right you get 1000 marks and MS then look to the answers of the new questions to see if people are getting them right or wrong, this helps them understand if the new question is writen and understood correctly.
@ash no they dont give partial correct, as far as i know its either right or wrong, some times even teh answer is not 100% correct it is just the "best" option availible to you.
Go Exam G Q 10 I'm going to switch the Answer to B because it seems the best correct answer given the information
I mean choosing the answer which is partially right
If Microsoft give new questions then they should provide enough time to read and think about the possible outcome if an option has been chosen
@ Thank you Deepa
@Dedulas : Both answers seem right, do Microsoft do partial marking for choosing the answer ? By the way- Is 4.5 up ?? thanks mate
There's outstanding uncertainties before i release V4.5
Exam M Q1 Liteware testlet. is the answer C or B? I'm thinking C because we're talking about distrubutuing software application updates and not things liek word and excel files. also this test http://www.sustainableit.co.za/wp-content/uploads/downloads/2010/09/Is_BranchCache_right_for_software_distribution.pdf would to me anyway indicate that branchecache isnt ideal.
Exam G Q6 (Baldwin Museum) its down to A or D, I dont know much about IIS so what do others think?
also G 10 is it D or B, I'm moving toward B what do you guys think?
