Regarding Case Study 1, Q7..
There is a -OnLyncServer switch to get-csuser cmdlet, however 'get-help get-csuser -detailed' shows that -OnLyncServer "Returns a collection of users homed on Lync Server. Users with accounts on previous versions of the software will not be returned when you use this parameter." But there's also a problem with -Identity all .. 'all' is not a valid argument. (and -UnassignedUser only work for users who have no registrar)

Also, it's Q7 not Q6 that refers to UCS.

But are you saying that you do not believe that Outlook 2013 can modify contacts even after UCS is implemented?

Never mind my last comment. I read and concur with Tony. Sales user policy overrides site policies and are therefore archived on Internal only via Policy1.

Sales users in Site2 = External and Internal (policy 3, and 1 overlaps)
Research users in Site2 = External and Internal (policy 3)

ExamB Q4 - "You need to identify which DNS record must be implemented for the planned federation relationship."

The dump says it should be SRV _xmpp-server._tcp.litwareinc.com on the external DNS zone, and references TechNet article jj204800.aspx, but that article doesn't reference _xmpp at all, it gives step by step federation instructions using the DNS record name of _sipfederationtls._tcp

Whereas 'help Export-CsConfiguration' says:

And while in the dump the underlying question of whether you even have a backup pool to failover to is in question, my memory of the test is that there is not.

Therefore - A is the only command that will help meet backup requirements.

Frustrated that I have the dump 100% memorized, and been getting 661's. Last time (Aug 3) out of 53 total questions all but 6 were an exact match to the dump. That's why past comments are that there are at least 10 wrong in the dump - the assumption being that all questions are weighted equally, and that I/others got 0% of the "new" questions. which as others said included 2-3 questions about persistent chat server.

That said I'm going through the dump question by question validating the answers. Here's one that I found that is wrong:

Exam A, Q11 "you need to recommend which task must be performed to meet the backup requirements"..

A) Export-CsConfiguration
B) Backup-CsPool
C) Restore-CsDatabase
D) Export-CsUserData

The dump says D) is correct.

But 'help Export-CsUserData' says:

Server 2013. The data will be exported as a .ZIP file containing a pair of
XML documents. This cmdlet was introduced in Lync Server 2013.

Guys, i have a question about Edge and WS 2012 Enterprise. Reading the comments i see, that on exam i should point "A full installation of Windows Server 2012 Enterprise"(non-existent edition) as an answer. Am i right?

There are some wrong answers on here: For instance it says the edge server only support 2 OS (2012 datacenter and 2008r2 enterprise). The Edge server supports 3 OS - 2012 datacenter and enterprise and 2008 r2.I failed with 680 but going to retake this Saturday and researching a few of these questions.as I have doubts on the validity of this dump I am just researching.will post my results then.

The question about "Windows Server 2012 Enterprise" was on the exam this weekend. Just missed passing with a 661, but here are some things I missed. 1) I didn't focus enough on the case studies - just memorize the answers, I didn't follow the connection between the question and the original case. 2) There was a question about persistent chat - 'you have 50,000 users being deployed, how many persistent chat servers do you need' - answers were 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. According to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj205357.aspx you need 1/20,000 users, so you'd think 3, but this was an HA deployment so I think the correct answer is 6. Then it asks how many SQL servers you need for the chat content. I think the answer to that is 2 for the HA, but no idea if the user quantity (50,000) warrants more SQL servers.

One of the wrong questions had to do with audio conferencing OCS 2007, OCS 2007 R2 2 x and lync 2010. The only correct answer is Lync 2010. The dump says OCS 2007 R2 and Lync 2010 however OCS 2007 R2 is not compatible with any conferencing features of Lync 2013.

Newer questions i can remember are the following:
1) New exhibit that was asking you where to change the fqdn in the external leg of an edge. Choices are like external standard, external enterprise etc.
2) A new multiple choices question with 5 options about federation services and the according ps cmdlets to be executed.
3) Multiple choices question, settings for videoconferencing settings in mobile phones.
4) Multiple choices question Failover question from srv02 to srv01 5 choices.
I d appreciate any feedback.

An Archiving question, where Sales users are applied user level archiving, it will only archive internal IM but the answer in the dump says internal and external.

The 6 new questions I came accross were "drag&drop" and "select".

One of them was "If you found that CMS replication is not working in a server, which windows service would you check and restart (a snapshot of the services console was displayed)".

Two more dealt with DNS entries to be created in the external leg of an edge (several options were displayed and you had to build the "puzzle") depending on the type of federation.

Two more dealt with FE pairing (several cmdlets were shown and you had to order them).

And the last one was embedded in one of the three case studies.

Regarding the invalid questions in this dump, most of the wrong answers are in the case studies.
Anyway shouldn't have used "invalid" but "wrongly answered".
In fact I'm very thankful to you for having uploaded the dump.

One do not should learn a dump by heart but use it as a guide and as a model to prepare the exam.
